My grandson loves it! (but don't throw away the box)
I had a hide and squeak kitten for my girls when they were little and I was looking to replace it for my grandson. This seems to be the only one out there. You can hide the mouse and it gives audible clues that get progessively louder and more frequent until it is found. My grandson is three and he just loves it. My complaint is that it is unecessarily complex. You have to turn it on and place it in it's original box (the cheese), then after it cues you, take it out of the box and wait until it says 'hide me'. At that point you find a hiding place and push the button again when it will begin emitting audio clues. When he finds it he pushes the button again and it plays music in celebration(dance party!). When it completes that it says 'take me to the cheese' and you return it to the box and he says 'yum yum' and you start over. You should really only have to push the button to hide and again when found. Although he loves the dance party. The audio quality is quite bad as well. Fortunately you don't actually have to know what he says to figure it out. The real problem is that it won't restart the cycle until you put it back in the box. The box is just the plastic and cardboard package it comes in. I had to go fish it out of the garbage when I found out I needed it. However, it is just a magnet inside the package that activates it and you could get by with any magnet if something happens to the box. All said, he loves it and that is what counts. Besides, the game of 'hot/cold' until he finds something, is not nearly as fun as this.

My kids are 3 and 5 they loved this game, we had so much fun" KEEP THE BOX" I dont know why but you need the box to reset its a mystery I took box apart and I have no idea why the box is needed to reset but it is ?????

Great concept
I love the concept of this toy but the execution wasn’t great. The speaker quality is really bad and it’s hard to understand what the mouse is saying. I also don’t love the fact that you have to keep the box in order to reset the mouse. I wish it just had a reset button instead. Other than that, my daughter absolutely loves it so I’m happy with my purchase.

Horrible Audio Quality- Can’t understand anything it says.
The entire point of the game is to listen to what the mouse is saying so you can find it. The audio quality is awful, and you can’t really understand any words or sounds like it saying.. it just sounds like a bunch of fuzzy sounding gibberish. Also, this speaker holes are really easy to accidentally block when you’re hiding it, so then you can barely hear the sounds when it’s hidden. Also, considering the fact that it tells you that you have to keep the ”cheese box” in order to play the game properly, you would think they would have it made it of a better material that would last longer and have an actual functioning lid/cover instead of the flimsy, plastic packaging. I almost returned the game after opening because I couldn’t find the said “cheese box”.. I then realized that they just meant the cheap packaging it came in. Overall, it really is a great *idea*, but unfortunately it doesn’t work well for the intended purpose. They need to get a better quality audio recording and better quality speakers for this to be a great toy. On a positive note, as far as looks go, it’s adorable, and my daughter thinks it’s so cute. Unfortunately I’m not going to keep a $20 mouse toy because it’s cute, when I could find one at the dollar store for way cheaper.

Fun Hide and Seek Toy!
I played with Squeaky with my 4 year old granddaughter and she caught onto the game right away. It was fun to hear the mouse making little noises to help find her. As she got louder and louder it was easier of course. Just be careful when opening the package. Do NOT rip the box that is Squeaky's home base and starts her over again.

My daughter loves this toy. She asks to play this everyday. It’s a fun interactive family game that toddlers and young children can enjoy.
