Been a couple of months, going strong

Enough pockets for all my daily work tools. They handle plenty of abuse on the daily. My only gripe, is they sit tight in the crotch. To high for my boys. But, not a deal breaker, just a bit to tight. Holding up well over the last few months, and I test them often!

I shoulda bought 10 pairs

The best work shorts I've ever owned. They don't just fit great, they fit at the waist and leave a bit of room for the hips. The fabric is super strong but not heavy or uncomfortable to wear. The pocket layout is perfect for the kinds of carpentering and electronics tasks I wear these shorts for. The belt loops are great for casual or utility belts. Great pocket layout and hammer loop. One minor nit is the length. I know that we all want the long shorts these days, but I would prefer shorts that didn't go over, and get caught on, my kneecap. I've bought these shorts for as little as $12.99 and seen them for $22.00. I would buy 10 pairs at $13 and feel bad about paying more.

Hole in the pocket

The shorts I recently purchased have hardly been worn but this two star review is based upon other wolverine shorts purchased only several months ago. Because I carried an iPhone in the right side pocket a hole appeared in two pairs and a white outline of the phone was apparent while there was no other sign of age or wear and tear. Both defective pairs were made from what seemed a thicker, denser material than the tan khaki shorts I had. They were also a different, darker color. That’s why I bought a second pair of khaki colored shorts.

Cheap thin itchy material

The wolverine hammer-loop carpenter shorts are what I typically wear. I ordered these by accident thinking they were the correct ones. When I received these Eaton style, I was very dissatisfied because the material is cheap, thin, itchy and the size isn’t the same as the hammer loops I love. I will be returning these Eatons.

Smaller than your average bear

Material and color are great, sizing is a whole different issue. These fit like they were 4-6 sizes smaller than other comparable brands, so don’t be discouraged or feel like you put on weight, Wolverine’s sizes just don’t match the majority of clothing companies.
