Very grippy
The Yak Trax are the best Ice grippers I have found. The coiled spring kind wear out in a week. Be careful to remove them on carpet and hard floors. They can eat carpet and be slippery on hard surfaces.

No more “gravity checks” on snow and ice!
Tired of checking to see if gravity is still working? Yeah, me too. Living in the arctic, falling several times during winter and getting hurt (surgery required hurt)…. well… i bought these…so far, so good! No more falling! Note: do not wear on smooth surfaces inside stores (smooth concrete, marble, tile, etc).., you will slip and slide and maybe fall! Use extra caution and care! Do not wear inside your home on your nice floors, these will scratch your flooring. These are meant for outdoor use on snow and ice.

A little hard to put on, but overall great.
It takes me a minute to put them on, but as someone who lives in Montana, they're quite useful.

Happy with them
No issues. Works well didn’t slip when cleaning driveway.

Best Yaktrax yet
I've been using Yaktrax since 2015. Same pair - seven seasons running and they've worked great and are still in amazing shape for how much wear they get. My wife recently was walking our husky mix in the snow and ice while I was out of town and got pulled off her feet. I told her she should use Yaktrax and ordered her a set. These newer ones with the squared off chains instead of springs are so much better and seem completely bomb proof that I ordered a new pair for myself as well. If you get ice where you live and need to walk on it, I would consider these a must have item and this is the exact model I would recommend - best performance and most durable I've ever seen.

Absolute must for ice driveway.
After our ice storm it was difficult maneuvering around our driveway. I ordered these because of the reviews I read. I have to agree. These are the best for walking on iced walkways. Easy on easy off. Just be sure you order the right size for your foot with a shoe on it.

Had for a short time. In short recommend
My experience so far has been good. Took them on a winter camping trip and used daily for work. There was all kinds of terrain that had a mix of solid ice, slush and snow. These worked well and I did a lot of hiking up and down hills/mountains. They stayed on without shifting. I guess the only downfall I would say is the chains work from keeping you slipping (obviously) however I walked over solid ice, I didn’t slip however when I was walking sometimes you could kinda feel them slide a tad. So my solution is maybe add more of an edge to the chains for more traction to make them better than they are now.

Great traction on ice and snow!!!
These Yak Trax worked so well, I immediately bought my husband a set and another one for myself!!! Our streets are not paved and are snow packed and icy after the snowplow gets done and we are able to walk safely with our German shepherd who wants her walks regardless what the weather is!!!????

This Yaktrax makes tracks.
So far I like these. Previously had the Yaktrax with the spiral steel grips and they were good also but as they wore out the spiral steel grips would start breaking. Hope these last better. The grip from the square cut chain links is totally sufficient. I find transitioning from snow/ice/ packed snow to bare sidewalks or streets easier with these. Not recommended but hey, bare spots are out there. And when you end up indoors on carpet or tile ( as when leaving apartment) these much better than the spiral type. If these end up having a decent life span, I will stay with this style for sure.

These are great
They do not slip off your shoe at all they stay put and give pretty good grip on ice and snow . the worst thing about most of these things is when you have to walk on bare cement . well these are pretty good on the sidewalk they do are not to noticable at all feel pretty good on bare cement as well . I have bought two pair also have the pair rubber with the metal studs they also stay on the shoes . But man on cement the studs flex feels a little unstable i got used to them but out of the two pair like these better for snow ice cement not sure if they will stand up only wore them twice so far

Best for casual/everyday use
I love Yaktrax! I wear the running spikes for winter trail running and have a pair of the chains for walking when I don't want to worry about dulling or breaking spikes on pavement or damaging surfaces with the spikes. These are quick and easy to put on and take off and I've never had a problem with them falling off. Also, they fit on a wider variety of footwear than the running-specific spikes. I recently bought a pair of chains for my 74 year-old father who makes multiple daily trips up a hill to the barn on his farm. He's tried several traction products over the years and says these are the best he's had.

Decent but don't last long.
At first I was really happy with these. Worked good for constantly transitioning from Ice, snow, gravel and mud. Smooth is still an issue but they do make a difference. Reason for 3 stars. The chains started snapping apart after about 10 days. I walk approx 8km per day at work on various changing terrains. Going back to gripstuds in my boots I guess

So Far So Good
I'm pleased with the performance of the chains. So far I've walked 25km over a variety of ice, packed snow and bare concrete. They haven't budged on my Keen hikers, are comfortable and grip well on all surfaces I've encountered. We'll see how long they last. The chains seem skookum enough, don't show any wear yet and the rubber is durable. So far I'm very happy.
