Corroded after 5 months. Won't unlock!

I bought this back in October as it's tasted for outdoor use. I locked the gate to the side yard with it and forgot about it. Went out today to unlock it and it's all corroded and won't unlock. Waste of money.

This is a super strong lock. It opens and closes smoothly and doesn't rust. The lock can be used inside or outside without any issues. It's heavy duty and can't be easily broken into. A good option for anyone with the need for a heavy duty lock like this. Highly recommended!

Solid lock for the price

So far so good. This lock has withstood the elements so far without any sign of potential rust or wear. I wish the actual lock was a thicker metal so it could not be cut through as easily, but otherwise I think this is a solid weatherized option for a mid-range strength lock.

Super lock: Yale 1-7/8" Wide Laminated Padlock

Good quality lock that's great for outdoors. We live in a humid area that has a rain season so locks tend to rust very quickly. This lock has the key area protected which keeps it working much longer than exposed locks. Good value.

Seems sturdy and keys operate smoothly

I use this lock for a deck box and it's perfect. It's more of deterrent for the curious, but it wouldn't be too hard to break the plastic on the deck box to bypass the Yale lock. I like that it comes with 3 keys and they all open the lock smoothly. The price is reasonable too.

Average Padlock (not recommended for outdoors)

Product seemed to be well built. I tried using it to lock up my shed during winter, however, the release mechanism froze making it very difficult to unlock which is frustrating. This padlock is well suited for indoor use but I don’t recommend it for exterior use.
