The Madras Blue dog collar is cute, but it's not what I expected. The pictures make it look like the primary colors in the collar are blue and orange. Upon delivery, I discovered that it's mostly white, with blue, orange, and a pinkish-burgundy color plaid. This might look better on a larger dog collar that shows more of the pattern, But in a small collar, it's not nearly as bright and fun as it looks online. Overall, the collar appears to be well made, so we kept it. Just disappointed that the collar pictured doesn't resemble the actual product at all.

I have just returned home from collecting the ashes of a little girl's beloved little cat, Riley, who was strangled to death with this collar a few days ago. She caught it on a toy and in her struggle to to get free it twisted into a knot all while we were in another room and in only a few minutes. By the time we found her it was too late. Try as she might this "breakaway" collar would not break away as it should. I bought two of these collars; one for her and one for her littermate sister. Of course, I immediately removed the other collar from her sister and snapped it together to see if it would break away under similar circumstances. Try as I might it would not open so I know it's not just that one collar that's dangerous. I have three other cats with breakaway collars made by different manufacturers and tested them finding they opened fine when I pulled them apart. So there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that these collars are a dangerous death trap. Riley was a little girl's first experience with bonding with a loved pet. She spent every moment she could with her, caring, feeding, even sleeping together. She is devastated and traumatized and will need a lot of care and guidance as she works through her grief. My advice to anyone considering purchasing these collars, please, please do not do so. If your cat is wearing one, remove it an discard it immediately.

Not as vivid as pictured

I have the blue for my dog and love it. Ordered the pink for my puppy (gotta coordinate!) the colors are more muted and not as bright. Such is life!
