Cuts with less effort than most, good at self-straightening

I used this to hand-thread a bunch of holes in 1/2" plate steel. It cut cleanly with much less torque than my previous tap. Chips come out the top, so the hole doesn't get clogged. It also aligns itself with the drilled hole very well, which is a big plus if you're hand threading especially with deeper holes.

Great taps especially if you always break straight taps

These taps, what can you say. They evacuate chips like a drill bit while tapping and there is less need to rotate back to break the chip. I have yet to break one of these taps while using it in my hand drill. I never use my hand drill with a straight tap since I probably broken more than I care to admit to and ruined many projects because I couldn't get the tap out. I will be buying more of these as I need them.
