Missing a bolt

Both clips broke!! -- DO NOT BUY THESE CHEAP CLIPS (UPDATE 7/5/2013)
I bought these on May 29, 2012. Today, October 23, 2012, almost exactly 5 months later, the clip attached to my right pedal completely sheared at the bend. I will add photos in a bit. I bike around 18 miles a day through busy city streets and over 100 miles every week. I bought these to replace the stock nylon pedal clips that came with the bike I had. They lasted since 2007 when I first got my bike. I thought that getting metal clips would actually be MORE durable than the nylon ones. Silly me. These things are cheaply made. They looked nice with my bike with a classic cycling style, but if you are care about your cycling performance, and want to put good things on your bike to help you be a better rider, please do not buy these clips. I will never buy another Zefal product again. They're a French company that just doesn't make very good stuff and should be ashamed to be selling this crap. ----- UPDATE: July 5, 2013 ----- This past Wednesday (July 3), the other clip finally broke as well. After the first one broke, I sorta figured it was just a matter of time. I honestly didn't have a whole lot of confidence in them, but was somewhat surprised the 2nd clip went as long as it did. The clip broke in exactly the same spot as the other one, right at the bend away from the pedal. All I can say is that these things were just not designed/manufactured to deal with the force and stress of pedaling... Which is insane, given that these things attach to your pedals. I suppose if you just want to cruise at 12-15 mph, then they might work fine. But I wouldn't trust these things. You're better off putting your money in either clipless pedals, or get some cheap nylon clips. The nylon ones that came with my bike hold up much better. These things are just garbage. They look nice. That's about all they have going for them. I know this review is full of gripes. But seriously, just stay away from these things. You'll thank me later. --- It also looks like Amazon removed my pics of my broken clips. I'm not gonna bother with re-uploading them. But hopefully nobody else wastes their $$ on this stuff without photo evidence...

Excellent product
Got these when I finally decided to put the flip flop hub on my single speed to use with a fixed cog. They are gorgeous and come with fairly clear mounting instructions. I've had them on my bicycle for 3 months know without issue. Purchased them along with the Zefal strap that gives my modern single speed a classic touch while keeping me on my pedals in any situation. I ordered the L/XL and when I received them the packaging said S/M, but didn't have an issue with the depth though I guess my feet are on the cusp between M and L (9.5 US mens). Mostly worn converse shoes with them, but had on a pair of brown dress shoes once that didn't get scratched up from my ride!

Overall it's good and cheap
Overall it's good and cheap. Not sure if it's because my pedals are smaller, but these clips' slots don't completely line up with my pedals' mounting halls, so I didn't end up using the bracket. Still works perfectly fine and not a big deal though.

Great Clips
These are the same clips that I got on a French bike 40 years ago. I have tried others but these are the best for getting in and out quickly in a commute situation. I have big feet and shoes, no other clip works quite as well.

Half Toe Clips
Item came as described, excellent quality and finish. Very easy to install and fitted exactly as they should. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in toe clips instead of the modern types that need special shoes. Once again Amazon triumphs
