Pleasant, not overwhelming scent. Very wet when first applied
The ABOVE SHINY SILVER 72 HOUR ELEMENTS ANTIPERSPIRANT ROLL-ON DEODORANT FOR MEN WITH NOTES OF JASMINE AND MINT wasn't in great shape when it arrived. It has a typical rollerball applicator, and was kind of gooping out the end of the roller. It was a bit messy. But, it was a particularly hot day, and maybe that had something to do with it. It could've sat in a hot truck for many hours. Rollerballs are not my favorite type of applicators, because they are slow drying when you first apply Your deodorant. This deodorant takes a while to dry, before you can get dressed, and feel confident you won’t smear your clothes with deodorant. Initially, it seems to have almost no odor or fragrance at all. But after having it on for a little while, when it gets hot, you can smell a faint and subtle, pleasant fragrance. I like that it is not overwhelming, and it's not immediately identifiable as either feminine or masculine. This doesn't mask smells, it actually stops you from perspiring, and, per the product information, lasts an impressive 72 hours. It is a small bottle and my first impression is that it is priced on the high side, for such a small amount. But given that it lasts three days, after a single application, the price might actually be quite reasonable. After all, if it came in a bottle three times the size, for the same price, I wouldn’t think it was expensive at all. I guess it's all relative.

Effective, long lasting, scent that isn't overpowering
The ABOVE brand is new to our household. My daughter and I tried some of their products (both women's and teen antiperspirant) but this is the first product from any of their lines that my husband has tried. He typically prefers spray antiperspirant because it doesn't get all over his clothing but was interested to see how this roll-on compared. The fragrance, according to the product description, has notes of lemon, oak moss, and bergamot. It is more on the masculine scent but not overly masculine. It is very woodsy and fresh smelling, not your typical sporty, strong, in-your-face masculine scent that is offered by many mainstream brands. The product glides on smoothly, not leaving behind any sticky residue. My husband said that he can feel it a little on his underarms unlike an "invisible" wear deodorant. Not a huge deal, just a somewhat heavier feel than his regular dry spray. My husband didn't notice any white deodorant stains on his clothing which is a huge plus. He is a fit guy and likes to wear somewhat tighter fitting t-shirts. With some brands, he gets white streaks on his shirts when he is putting them on. He then has to take off that shirt and put on a new one which is a royal pain! The container size is smaller than my husband's regular product at only 1.7 oz. It does a great job of preventing both sweat and odor. My husband showers daily so he can't test the 72 hour protection claim. However, it has held up VERY well to long, stressful days at work, strenuous workouts, hikes, and hours spent outside working in the yard. No major armpit sweat and no bad odor.

Serves its intended use
My son has been using this for roughly a week now. He's always had a problem with excessively sweating under his armpits. He's always in search of a good underarm deodorant that can cut down and even eliminate his massive sweating. So, He's been using this almost daily in between showers and he's telling me that it's doing a good job in cutting it down....he still has a little bit of perspiration but his shirts under his arms aren't soaked through. It has a good fragrance to it...not overpowering in the least ...as many of these deodorants have a very pungent bitter smell to them. The only thing is he does have to reapply it every day so he doesn't know if it really works for 72 hours because he pretty much takes showers daily or every other day. Nonetheless ....he's told me that he's actually going to order more as they aren't that expensive. Some of the ones that he gets are over $10 as he has some that have low aluminum in them that are designed to also cut down on his excessive perspiring.

Smells good, but not a great antipersprint
My husband and I, both thought is had more of a fresh scent with a hint of floral. I was surprised because it says that it's a "Woody, Floral scent" in the title, but then also shows "Melon, Cucumber, Jasmine, and Watermelon fragrance" in the photos. I was honestly expecting a fruity floral scent. Even though that's not what I was expecting, I still really like the scent!! Its a very unisex scent. The roller ball works like any typical roller ball does. It works as an antipersprint as long as you don't put it to moderate use. It's good for everyday use, as long as you are not a heavy sweater. I wouldn't use it if you're going to work out or do sweaty yard work. And I definitely wouldn't use it on warmer work days. It's probably not a deodorant I would order again, but I will finish using up the product. Keep in mind that everyone's different. Just because this product doesn't work for my husband and I, doesn't mean it won't work for you!

Good deodorant
The ABOVE roll-on antiperspirant has a light scent. I didn't really get hints of jasmine or mint, but it does smell nice. After the initial application, it is almost odorless. That's actually not a bad thing. The antiperspirant/deodorant works well. I think it protected against wetness and odor as good as other brands I use. Does it last 72 hours? I'm not going to test that, but I doubt any antiperspirant/deodorant that claimed 48+ hours of protection to actually do it. On the down side, I'm not a fan of roll-on deodorants. It'll roll on wet and dry very quickly, but I prefer sticks that apply dry. I'm pretty sure it won't stain clothes as it is practically invisible upon application. Overall, I think the ABOVE antiperspirant/deodorant is effective. It works and it doesn't have a strong scent. They probably offer a stick version if you don't like roll-ons.
