Works pretty well for 2 years - then done
THis is my second one of these for my horse trailer - They do keep the trailer clean and dry for about 2 years, but then the product starts to disintegrate quickly. There's no way to pad or cushion every hinge, door handle, latch or light housing on the trailer - and those various bumps and edges wear on the thin fabric every time the wind stirs, so eventually you'll see the rips and tears getting larger and larger until the cover hangs in strips off the trailer - HOWEVER - I estimated that I spent about $75 a year to keep my trailer clean and somewhat dry, so in my eyes, that is a good tradeoff. Also, since my trailer is 15 feet, and the cover is for 14-16 foot trailers, I have about a foot of excess fabric to gather up and fasten somewhat so it doesn't balloon out like a sail. That is a bit of a problem. But I still like it enough to have bought it twice.

Bigger than I expected
I only just bought it but I like the product and it seems high quality. I think it will work well. My only complaint is I used the sizing chart to buy this and it is way bigger than I need it to be. I'm having to do some extra work to keep it in place because it is so big. Otherwise, for now, I think it will work fine.

It fits
For the 2 horse trailer with a tack room, I purchased the 14-16' cover. It covers the hitch as well. From the other reviews, I am eager to see how it holds up. However, the material seemed sturdy enough, and I am looking to protect the trailer which I can't keep inside. So even if I have to replace it every so often, it still would be worth it. I put the cover on myself. I needed a ladder, but the big markings FRONT and BACK do make it easier to figure out. With the rope and eyelets, you can pull the material snug, which should help with the wind. The cover also has three cords that go underneath the trailer to keep it secure.

Best option in its price range.
The average option to cover and protect your horse trailer is upward of $1k for something truly durable. I researched for months all of my more affordable options, temporary car ports etc, and ultimately decided to try this as it seemed the best value for money at the lower price range. I was concerned that it may discourage me from using my trailer due to the need to take it on and off, however, it is relatively easy to install. You definitely need a ladder, an extra person helps, but is not necessary. I am 5’5” and have managed to put it on and off without too much difficulty alone. The cover is breathable, and does not trap moisture thus making your trailer moldy, which is great. It is “reasonably” durable. It will wear on sharper edges, I have a few small tears that have started, but immediately adjusted the cover and duck taped the areas, which has worked. I strongly suggest you store your trailer in a place where it will get minimal wind, as the constant blowing will cause pressure points to rub, and thus tear. I did my research, thoroughly and for months, this is obviously no where near as good as a permanent metal car port, but for the price, I am super happy with it so far.

Not happy with it.
Installed mine on the horse trailor in late September and it has holes in it from the wind. Not worth the money. Will never buy again.

Wind resistance
Installed and secured tight After 2 weeks of use a 40 mph wind tore front to back along the tandem wheel fenders

Buy a bigger size
The product is adequate for short term use. However, it’s difficult to put on the trailer and tears easily. I have a 16ft trailer and purchased the size that supposedly fit a 16-18 Ft trailer. It really doesn’t. Recommend buying two sizes up for your trailer size. Don’t think I would buy this product again

Fits a 6x12 v-nose trailer
Bought this for our 6x12 v-nose trailer and it fit enough to cover both the v and the tongue. The straps that wrap underneath the trailer are great to ensure the cover does not move. It seems durable enough to last a few seasons (through Wisconsin winters) if handled carefully. I could put it on alone but easier with two people.
