I used these for my Xbox controller that I use daily, I was going through batteries every two weeks it was insane, it’s been about a month and they are still going strong !

good value for money but not the most long lasting

used these for the mic packs in a musical and we had to change out the batteries after the first act every single show since they showed that they were on the last bar (almost dead) on the mic packs. obviously this doesn’t mean that they are completely drained but we don’t want to risk the mics not working mid second act. i brought all the batteries home after they were used since we go through so many and they do still work for a bit especially since i am not constantly using them for hours. Overall, the price is good enough to where we are able to switch them out as we need and they last a decent amount of time. The convenience of having them shipped is also amazing since we are stressed and don’t have the time to just go out and buy them.

Low Quality After Recent Change

I've been buying AA and AAA batteries from Amazon Basics for a couple of years now. They recently changed the packaging (and presumably the manufacturer) and now they only last half as long. I tried a pair of Duracell AAs to test my hypothesis and they lasted almost three times as long. I wanted to stop buying these Amazon batteries, but it turns out that, at around $0.25 each and $0.90 for Duracell, they're still cheaper overall than buying name brand. However, it is extremely disappointing to watch them deliberately drop the quality and force us to purchase batteries more frequently. They've basically pulled a bait-and-switch with us, sucking us in with high quality batteries and then trading them out for lemons without dropping the price commensurately. Their packaging may be frustration-free, but these batteries sure aren't.
