Surprisingly good
I was not expecting something of this quality. I've had mine for almost a month now and I've yet to find something I don't like about it. Love that it charges with a USB C, I have these chargers all around the house, in my vehicle, at work. I travel quite a bit for work and this thing has been great. The battery life (so far) has been outstanding. Charges up quickly, too. Really close shave, and little to no razor burn. Wayyy better than my previous foil shaver (which cost me the same amount as this one). Definitely one of my best purchasing decisions this year. In my opinion, this thing is worth every dollar. I'll post an update later on (once I've had it for a few months)- only if there are issues. So if you don't see an update a few months down the road, you can assure that I haven't had any problems with it.

Usually don’t write reviews but…
This Andis reSurge is surprisingly good. My Panasonic Arc3 shaver went out so I decided to try something new. I shave my face and head. The reSurge cuts closer than the Braun. It was so close I was worried I might get razor burn while getting used to it (sensitive skin here)…surprisingly no razor burn. I’m very impressed. The packaging was like an iPhone, which is impressive but who cares, I’d rather they include a travel pouch instead. Then again this product might be aimed more at pros. The only negative is the ergonomics are a little awkward for me. I’m getting used to it, but the shape of the head on the reSurge can make it a little hard to see what you’re doing in tight areas when trying to do a little detail work. That said for the price I paid is a steal and I’m glad I gave the reSurge a shot.

Great product, but Amazon sent a used item
I love the product, it was something that I have been waiting for. A powerful compact foil shaver with central blade for the long hair. Amazing design and packaging. My ONLY problem is with Amazon. They have sent me a used ITEM. The vendor who I brought this from was FIVE STARS. They said that the problem is with AMAZON. I find it unacceptable Update: reordered the unit directly with amazon. New Unit was sent. The closeness of the shave is amazing. The long har blade does splendid job of cutting 1/2 inch hair. The aesthetics are darn good. If you want to charge with 3d party chargers, you need a higher wattage charger

Excellent shaver but
The shaver is awesome. However my shaver did not come with any charging cord. Since the package was unopened prior to me receiving I thought it was an error so I reached out to the manufacturer listed and her told me I would have to return the entire package and pay to ship it to them. Not gunna go through that hassle for a cord cheaper than the shipping cos. Excellent shaver!

Pretty good, if it works for you it might be great
So the unit is nice and solid, and it's pretty ergonomic to use (other than the power switch is easily hit by thumb during use, so minus a bit there). The thing is, with my beard growth at least, it would not get everything in certain spots (e.g. near Adam's apple) even after multiple passes at various angles/against the grain/etc, and even with the center cutter element - and - I think this is due to what I'd call "modern" cutter/foil design - I got burn all over lasting over a day even with light pressure, unlike past foil shavers I've had (all Braun, but back when they were good). Note that the cutter has kind of segments of cylinder rather than really thin sharp-looking things, which is now common and I'm thinking is simply a flawed approach. So this is a real "if it works for you, it may be great" type of product but I honestly think someone needs to do cutter blocks like Braun used to or this entire class of product is now basically pointless - and I noted even the high-end Braun/Panasonic/etc each have some 1-star reviews griping about the same issues. I was hoping a different company's version of things might be the way/maybe they figured it out better especially given that it's aimed at pros and also the many good reviews, but apparently not. Like I say, my older lower-end ones never had ANY of the issues described here. Finally, I should mention as others have that the box is totally ridiculous - other reviewers have to be right that it's easily adding to product cost as it is not just a little over the top, it's like packaging for a special-edition album box set or something.

Great no guard super close shaver head & face.
Good little shaver fits nicely in the hand, sturdy foils easy to clean and cap is magnetic would recommend to anyone who's like the close barbershop shave you'd get from the traditional wahl and andis foil shavers this is a big upgrade from those.
