Stunning!

This Leland Adjustable Grey Faux Leather and Chrome Finish Bar Stool was nicely packaged. On top of the box (when opened) was a slip that said if you have any questions call the certain number which I really appreciated. All of the screws that you need were nicely placed and there is a red string coming out of the box so you knew exactly where to find all of that. I like that there wasn’t that many parts and it was super easy to assemble. It looks absolutely stunning in our downstairs bar area. I have attached pictures to this review so you can see what it looks like. My husband is really impressed with it and we have already ordered another one so we have two barstools down there. When you want to lower the barstool you will have to be sitting on it as it will not go down without the pressure or the weight of your body on without it on it. Highly recommend!

Attractive without a doubt but lift mechanism is faulty

This is a visually stunning chair, but the lift mechanism is faulty on the one I received. The instructions were adequate and I've put several similar chairs together in the past, so this isn't an installation problem the chair is defective. Stating that, the one height it does stay in is actually the correct height for my needs. If I had to raise, or lower, the chair I would be upset. Actually, I guess I should be upset that the chair does not function as advertised. From other reviews, I feel as if I must have just gotten a one-off mistake because nobody else seems to have had a problem.

Very stylish and comfortable bar stool with height adjustment

Leland Adjustable Grey Faux Leather and Chrome Finish Bar Stool The first thing I did was unpack and inventory all the parts. Everything was there but I did notice some scratching on the round pedestal base. I considered calling the included phone number for a replacement but I let it go as I figured it will be scratched over time anyway. All the packaging was in good shape this had to happen at the factory. So examine it carefully. It comes with the Allen wrench you’ll need to tighten the bolts. There are two sizes of bolts and the included one extra of each size, a nice touch. I built it by myself as I’ve built a lot of furniture in my time. I used a box to support one piece when I bolted it to the other. If you don’t have a handy soft item to balance the piece on you’ll need a second set of hands to do it safely. It is on the heavy side and some will need two people regardless. I think it’s well constructed and it took me about thirty minutes to get it all together. I’d rank this fairly easy to do. I love the height adjustment feature. It is also a very comfortable and wide bar stool. I’m a big guy and it holds me just fine. It spins smoothly, too. The foot rest is nice and in the right place for me. I like this barstool very much and it comes in a nice variety of colors for different decors. If it looks good to you and you’re handy, go for it. There’s also a fee to have it built in your home.
