Great bar stool, BUT could easily be fixed to my needs.

It is a bit too lightweight for a tall stool. I replaced 6 bar stools I purchased in 1991 (Heavy Duty as everything was back then). I paid $260 a piece (today would be $562). They've lasted 30 years and are now used in a coffee shop. My mistake was getting something without a padded back. Hence, I purchased a "Bartka Memory Foam Lumbar Support Back Cushion" here on Amazon, and it FIXED my back issues sitting on a stool for extended computer use without padding. I would not repurchase these. I should have ordered one and tried it out before purchasing six. There is nothing wrong with the product, and it may work well for you...unless you have a bad back as I do.

Great stools, commercial quality, and they back them.

A+++ Look on the legs for bolts!!! Bolts may be taped to legs of the stool. One stool was missing bolts (or so I thought), emailed seller details yesterday. Recieved new set of bolts this morning via Fed-Ex!!!! THEY OVERNIGHTED MISSING HARDWARE!!! I have NEVER dealt with a company that responded so quicky!!! Armen Living is Awesome! TY! For those who had issues with stools, did you even try to contact the seller??? Defects happen, human error happens, if you leave a bad review without even giving them a chance to correct it, you are a terrible person! Amazon screws things up fairly regularly with my orders, shipping, etc... (I average 20+ orders a month...)but they always make it right, so I feel safe shopping with them. So, beyond the company going above and beyond.... I love these stools. They're modern yet elegant, like they would be in an upscale restaurant. Seem to be quite sturdy, yet amazingly light. A++++ Here's a Tip: It is a bit tricky bolting together, I found that if you lay chair down face forward on the floor, slip all 4 bolts into holes and hold the nut and washer with you finger to line up threads and turn the bolt rather than the nut, they line up much easier. Also, have a confession and I feel terrible... I found the bolts this morning. But you have made a customer for life... have a feeling I won't need to replace until I decide I just want something different...lol

this manufacturer is not customer friendly

ordered 2 to complete our renovated kitchen .... the first counter height stool arrived, the box was in horrible shape but the product was good.....second box arrived a coople of days later (box was beat) parts missing etc Amazon okay send bzck ad reordered today the replacement arrived the box was in the best condition of th4 3 but it appears when the seat was manufactured the people stripped the screws but husband has been able to fix (bear in mind these are over $200 a piece ......called the manufacturer to advise of the problems - customer service is non exsistant ho hum attitude love the look not sure if I will ever buy from this supplier

Nicely made!

The barstools are very well made - the legs and back are brushed stainless with a faux leather seat. They were super easy to put together. All we had to do was tighten 4 screws to hold the top onto the legs - the parts were included. The barstools were wrapped well inside heavy duty cartons and arrived with no damage whatsoever. We ordered the 30" height because we have a raised snack bar (not counter height). Our snack bar is just under 6 feet wide and two chairs fit the space comfortably. Each bar stool is about 22 inches wide at the top. They are full sized chairs and are very comfortable.

Love the updated look!

These chairs are very comfortable & have added style to our kitchen. The stainless steel frame looks great with our stainless steel appliances. The black seat appears to be more vinyl than faux leather but are comfortable & easy to keep clean. We ordered multiple chairs & one came damaged. The return & reorder process was easy. Love the look!

Great stool

Very comfortable, easy to put together. I feel safe sitting and not feeling like it will tip over. I do all my prep work on the kitchen counter and need a comfortable stool to sit on.

good quality chairs

I was hesitant about these because of the low back but they are actually quite comfy. Using them for a counter height kitchen table. I am happy with how they look - somewhat modern. Love that they swivel!
