The sprayer isn't the best.

So I bought this to pair with my steamer to clean upholstery. Wasn't quite ready to spend over $1500 for an all in one unit that steams, vacs and shampoos, but at this point, i think I'm going to. I would have gave it 5 stars, but the sprayer has malfunctioned. It barely sprays. Initially, it was great; a nice spread of solution with decent pressure which allowed quick and easy saturation. Now it takes forever, and I've since resorted to using a spray bottle in its place. I've only used it like 3 times. Kind of a bummer, especially since its hard to find quality spray bottles. The spray nearly trickles out. When it works, there's a gap in the spread, meaning it sprays from the outer angles but nothing in the center. Trigger alert!! Kind of like the scene in ME, Myself and Irene, when he's peeing everywhere. I thought it was dirty so i tried to find something small enough to scrape the tiny nozzle. Can't even use a nylon bristle. Its a tiny little slot. Maybe i'll try and soak it in vinegar or something. Ant be mineral deposits because i use distilled water. When I shut off the pump, it continues to drip as well. On the other hand, the vacuum has great suction and does a good job extracting the solution. I wish there was a smaller version of the upholstery head, like maybe 2 or 3 inches, for tight spots, like around seat belt dispensers, visors and the support where the handles are next to the windshield. It's a good thing that the heads don't clip in. I thought at first it would be aggravating, but it works out, because you're able to rotate the head and adjust the positioning of the gun. Otherwise, it would suck since the handle is huge. Haven't had any problems with the remote buttons. At the beginning, they didn't work though. I had to take apart the circuit board and check connections and the battery before the first use. After that, it worked fine. The canister for solution is OK except that the cap doesn't screw close. You pop it on, which means it can just pop off too and waste solution, especially if the unit accidently falls over. Another bummer. It holds a gallon of solution which is nice. However, if I'm cleaning the interior ceiling of a vehicle plus everything else, I have to refill it. Overall, I'm making it work to get the job done. It's cleans well if you know what you're doing, and if you mix the solution just right. Don't use to much of your cleaning agent. You'll be there forever trying to get suck up the resulting foam that will linger in the fabric. Oh and if you don't know, do not attempt to spot clean with this unless you want a dirt ring hanging around. You'll need to clean whatever it is in its entirety, from end to end. This will prevent those nasty rings.

Good vacuum

This has good suction power and decent build quality, the only issue ive had so far is the metal spray nozzle on the bottom of the shampoo attachment appears to have some build up of rust or something and water doesnt spray out at all. Edit: i called clevo support and they sent out a new fitting for free. Just disappointed that i even had to do that. Edit2: I used it to shampoo the carpets and seats in my Lexus and it performed phenomenaly. As stated the suction is good and holds a ton of waste. The 1 gallon water tank is a little small but it got me through so much work without having to refill. Id like to see information on hose sizes and what fits, as i wouldnt always need the wireless remote handle with the admittedly thick and cumbersome hose and the smaller water spray hose getting bound up when working due to twisting and turning the handle. When using the vacuum it does emit a strange odor which isnt too pleasnt when used indoors. Overall its a great vacumm and shampoo combo unit that I'll be using for my new detailing business. Would recommend getting one if you're looking for an affordable combo unit.

Great for boats, car upholstery, and low-pile carpet

I like to fish. Between fish flopping around on the floor, occasional bait spills, and mud from getting in and out, my boat gets dirty. Rinsing the carpet out when I wash the boat doesn't do a lot to make it look better, so I figured I'd give this carpet cleaner a shot. The carpet cleaner arrived in good condition. The parts seem to be well built and made of quality materials. NOTE: There is some assembly required. All in all, this probably takes about 30 minutes to put together, and the instructions aren't the easiest to follow, but everything fits together nicely in the end. There are a ton of accessories that come with this vacuum. I guess it can be used as a regular vacuum as well, but I haven't tried it for that yet. I went straight to the boat. The carpeting is very low-pile and there's no padding underneath. I used the smaller carpet nozzle without the extension wand to clean the boat, since there are some tight spaces. The carpet looked great afterward and just to see how well it had done I dumped the collected water into a coffee container to see how much dirt I pulled out (shown in uploaded image). I then used it to clean some of the rubber all-weather mats in my truck, which also worked well. Then I took it inside to try and clean some carpet where my dog had urinated (he's 12 years old and just can't hold it like he used to). Unfortunately, this vacuum struggled a bit with my medium-pile interior carpet. After a few minutes of vacuuming with the larger carpet nozzle, only a little bit of the detergent mixture I had sprayed down actually got collected. I think the wide nozzle and the thick carpet reduced the seal of the vacuum pressure a little too much. I switched to the smaller nozzle which meant it took longer but that one did a much better job of sucking the liquid back up out of the thicker carpet. I think this product could work with that type of thicker indoor carpet, but there are better options out there if that's all you're wanting to use the carpet cleaner for. A couple notes to be aware of: 1) There is an air control valve on the handle which allows you to reduce the suction pressure when working with gentler applications. This valve is the same color as the handle and can accidentally be engaged, so hopefully in the future it will be colored so it's easier to see. I vacuumed for a few minutes before realizing that a lot of my suction power was being reduced through this valve. It was easy enough to close and get right back to work with full power. 2) Initially I could not get the remote control handle to work. It turned out that there was a pairing issue between the remote and the power head. I consulted the manual and found that there are instructions for re-pairing the remote. After that it worked well and was super convenient. Pros: - Packaged well – nothing appeared damaged out of the box - Parts appear to be made out of quality materials - Functionality – capable of many different applications - Cleans very well, especially on low-pile carpet and hard surfaces - Lots of attachments - Good power - Great filtration capabilities Cons: - It's heavy and the hose and accessories make it a little bit of a chore to go up/down stairs - Confusing instructions – a “quick start guide” would have helped early on - Somewhat in-depth assembly process

Powerful

This consolidates two machines, and it’s absolutely worth it. Powerful suction whether vacuuming or shampooing. Whether carpet or tile this machine cleaned it all. Used immediately on my car where my child spilt chocolate milk, you would never know it happened looking at it now. Attachments are all you need that comes with it. The vacuum bag collects all the dirt and debris, so no dust collector med back out. The filters are super easy to change out. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. I do wish there was a spot on the machine to store the attachments, and I feel like I will eventually have issues with the water line connections but currently it’s holding up good.

Muy buena capacidad de succión y capacidad

Ya probé la maquina y me pareció muy buena, claro no funcionará como una maquina extractor o succion de las profesionales que cuestan 10 veces más, pero cumple con sus especificaciones descritas. La inyección es buena, la succión es potente tanto en seco como húmedo. Anteriormente tuve la Bissell pro, y elegí la Vacmaster VK609 por el mango más cómodo, mas manejable y menos voluminoso ya que me dedico al Detallado Automotriz y esporádicamente a salas de casa. Se recomienda!
