Easy to install and works great

I used this on my kicker and it installed in about 15 minutes and works great. I disconnect it for running.

Instant kicker steering system

Works perfectly so far for my application, I used a saws all to cut the threaded end of the rod a little at a time till I got it short enough to work but left it so I can cut it shorter if needed. They leave it extra long so nobody gets one too short for their situation. They advertise you can trim both motors independently which seems to work but I would still be careful and disconnect them until you learn the full range of travel. I have accidentally left them connected several times with no damage to the steering linkage though. My 2019 4hp mercury kicker did already have factory holes that matched perfectly with the hardware in the kit that has several different holes for different applications, so it was literally bolt on the kicker, then clamp on the main motor linkage, then go test it on the water. 10-15 hrs of trolling with it so far and it’s perfect. When trailering I disconnect the rod, trim up my main motor, install the transom saver, tie down my steering wheel, then reconnect this to my kicker so you have both motors secure and not flopping around. Dual purpose!

Works as intended

Worked great to connect my trolling motor to my main engine took about half hour to install required cutting and bending. Only complaint is the ball and sockets are a bit loose and rattled with engine vibration
