Terrible graphics

Same good Taylor scale as before, but the redesigned graphics are terrible. Old version had clear, large buttons for on/off and tare. New design has tiny buttons. And someone at Taylor decided that the A should become a branded large red triangle; sorry that's Bass Ale.

The best there is.

The good: we do lots of repetitive and quick scaling (scones, cookies, baguette dough, truffles, etc). Other scales (including other taylor scales) "drifted" as you did this. This scale stays on target and doesn't need to be re-tared to get back to 0.0. Really makes portioning a lot faster and easier. The platform size is perfect as it can take quite large storage bins on it when we need to weigh out large recipes. The not so good: I have 3 of these scales for our bakery team... we've all learned not to use the stainless steel platform cover as the weight is unreliable with it on. The platform itself is cheap plastic that warps in time... still functions, but it's just a little disappointing. Still, having tried quite a few other scales on the market, this is by far the best and easiest to use.

I recommend.

Over all its a good Unit. Its a little laggy on measuring so pour slow. I use it for all of my sourdough baking. Its got great battery life as well as the option to plug it into the wall.

Excellent

Appears to be accurate, more importantly, it is consistent. Removable scale top is easily cleaned. Readily changes from ounces/pounds to grams/kilograms. Can't comment on battery use, I use the AC adapter.

Fantastic scale!

I run a pizzeria where we make dough daily, so gram measurements are very important to us. This scale is accurate to the gram. I've had more expensive scales that are only accurate to 2 gram increments. This unit is durable too. I keep a set of weights around to check the accuracy every so often and they always are spot on!

Work Horse in our Commercial Kitchen

Great product, does what it should. Very durable and the metal top is washable in our commercial dishwasher. We portion foods out for recipes all day long with this scale.

Feels solid

Feels like a nice quality scale. Didn’t need anything to do large weights, or any special features, just something for basic duty that will last longer with less frustration than our old cheaper scale. This one responds quickly to button presses and just works.
