Pictures don't do it justice

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't expecting the scale to be that nice. I was pleasantly surprised. Compared to how much I paid for it. It is a awesome value. I personally, love it. I am a person that likes to marinate my meat. I always end up throwing away the label with how much it weighs on it. As you can surmise, when it becomes time to cook something. I'm trying to figure out, how much my chicken weighs. And the secrets of the universe. And if I had enough common sense in that moment. I could use a search engine, to figure out how much the average chicken weighs. But, alas in those moments I'm never that smart. This is why, I'm happy! I purchased a scale.

Great For The Money

I see a lot of people trying to use this scale as a high end commercial scale which it is not.There is a reason why Mettler Toledo can get $500. for one of those scales that you see in the produce section of your supermarket.Commercial scales take a beating and must be be certifiable by the state year after year.This scale is meant to allow you to do simple tasks in the kitchen,have an idea what a box will cost to ship,or measure out contents of extra weight .In other words it makes tasks possible that would otherwise be impossible to do because of costs. Use this scale carefully and you will have no problems.

Great scale.

Bought this scale for a good price and absolutely love it. Use it primarily for processing deer and making sausage. My old scale only went up to 10lbs. Usually make sausage in 25 lb batches, thus the reason I purchased this scale, and the fact that sits a LEM product. My buddy saw it and ordered one for himself.

Great for the price

Purchased this kitchen scale for sale price of $36.08. I smoke meat regularly and weight is important especially when you are smoking different meats at the same time. I have already used it for weighing different meats and other items and found it to be accurate and easy to adjust. The platform is large enough to accommodate many larger items without resulting to placing a larger surface on it. I have not needed to tare with it yet, but because it adjusts smoothly and easily and zero stays on zero, I anticipate that it will not be a problem. It is made in China and the metal work is not as finished as I would like it but as a utility it functions well, is easy to clean, and it is sized and shaped for reasonable storage. Even at the $59 range it would not be a bad deal. It isn't digital, it will not tell you the room temperature, or tell time. It is a kitchen scale and it performs that function well.

Nice adjustment system for zeroing the scale. Putting the screws on the scale table to fasten it was a nightmare.

Very good reliable scale that will weigh up to 44 lbs we use it all the time in our butcher shop.
