Pretty good, but durability may vary

Well, it surely seemed promising at first. The construction appeared to be sound, and the kids at the local playground really enjoyed it. Note - this isn't one of those "soft" balls, if you bean somebody with this thing they'll feel it. After about 8 weeks on the playground, I noticed the metal hook (which is attached to the rubber of the ball and to which the rope is tied) was working its way loose. After 13 weeks or so, the ball had fallen off completely. I'm giving it three stars due to the poor durability. EDIT: I purchased another to replace the failed ball, and ball #2 is faring much better than ball #1. I set it up in November right after I wrote the initial review, and it seems to be no worse for wear after the winter (you should check the inflation every couple of months, though). In April it saw very heavy use, and it's apparently one of the most popular attractions on the playground (who knew?) I feel like 5 months is a pretty good run for something like this in an outdoor environment. Upping my rating to 4 stars and hopeful that this one will make it through the summer.

kids describe as Kool colors!

Simple to inflate, wish it came with a new hook to attach to pole, had to buy new hook since old one that came with original ball was rusted. So, if you do need a hook, spend the money and buy a stainless steel hook. Otherwise, the bright colors of the ball is a real eye catcher. The kids call it the Google ball. Seems well made, only time will tell!!!

Best tether ball

Best tetherball. Much stronger than others. Bulldog loves it and tries to pop. With other styles he pops within a couple of days. This one lasts much longer.

Popped!!

We tried to inflate this and the valve pushed into the ball resulting in the pump getting stuck on and the ball exploded!!! Amazon refunded my purchase! Poor quality, or maybe we just got a defective one!

Excellent Tether Ball

Excellent and well made tether ball. Well worth the price. It has a semi-soft cover that makes it easier for my 10 year old daughter to hit.

This is a great tether ball. The grandkids are enjoying it!! My husband was able to install it easily and we expect many years of fun!

Colourful and durable

Had a tetherball tournament. This does well, it’s a bit hard. Last one we had was softer. Hurts the hands a bit but it’s super durable and colourful.
