Upgrade for me!

I had been using a strainer from a gift set or a julep strainer for years. I picked this up after learning a bit more about hawthorn strainers, and yeah, the upgrade was worth it. The size works better with my shaker, the tight coils on the spring allow fewer ice shards into the drink, and it comes apart to clean super easy.

Best strainer out there

You're not going to get a better strainer than this. The spring is much tighter than similar strainers. The frame is heavy and has a quality feel. Because the spring is so tight, getting it off to clean is a bit more of a pain than other strainers, but it's worth the extra effort.

Love the side and wish I bought it sooner

Love this item I have wanted one for years. I cannot believe I waited this long. When I make my cosmopolitans it allows the sheath of ice to be on top of the drink. This is very well-made very sturdy.

High Quality Item

This is not the cheapest cocktail strainer you can find on Amazon, but for the quality it's a good deal. Very solidly made and very functional. It will get the job done in style.

Good solid bit of kit

Nice solid strainer, has a pleasantly solid quality feel. It has a handy little ridge where your forefinger naturaly goes so you can control the contact between the strainer and the shaker better you pour. I don't know if this is common because I'm a home user rather than a pro, but my last strainer didnt have it. Very happy with this.

Best Hawthorne strainer I've ever used.

This is a great quality strainer, it feels a little heavier and sturdier than your usual hawthorne and has a much better spring (more coils = better at filtering out tiny bits of ice). It's going to last years and years so spend a little more and get a good one like this.
