Freedom to move
These items were purchased for line dancing classes. They are very lightweight and flexible. My size was not available so I purchased 1/2 size larger and they fit perfectly.

Valued dance snickers.
Need to order size up by one or one and half to get a comfortable fit. Shoe is sightly stiff when first put on but works great on the dance floor. Over all for the moderate pricing, highly recommend it for practicing dancing on hard floors.

It's a great shoe
I ordered this show for hip hop classes. It's a great shoe, but definitely order up a size to a size and half. I went up a size and it's still a bit snug! I love how narrow it is, perfect for my feet. Very comfortable

Shoe size based on foot width
I have always gone up one size from my street shoe size, when purchasing bloch sneakers. However...with these particular shoes...determine the size based on your foot width. My feet are narrow, so going up one size made the heel way too big. I'm returning them now and trying a half size up instead. The length fit perfect, but the width was not. I'm hoping I can work them in, to where they form to my foot. I like tighter dance shoes anyway.

Slightly stiff
I swear by Bloch dance shoes, but this pair is taking a long time to break in. It still feels stiff and is not as comfortable as my other (different) pair. These shoes run very small, so order at least 1 size up if you have not tried them on first.

(Bloch Women's Troupe Dance Shoe -- Perfect for Zumba
I purchased these dance shoes (Bloch Women's Troupe Dance Shoe, White, 8.0) for Zumba, because of the pivot pad on the bottom. I selected this specific shoe because (1) the soles are white (and my YMCA doesn't allow the black soled shoes on the dance floor); (2) the heel was just a bit shorter than the other pair I purchased (so easier for street wear); and (3) I was happy with the other pair I bought (stopped my knee pain during Zumba). I bought it in the same size -- one size up from my regular size. However, I noticed that with this shoe the toe area is just a bit looser than the toe area in the other Bloch dance shoes I bought last year (Bloch Dance Women's Boost DRT Suede and Mesh Split Sole Dance Sneaker). The pink dance sneaker, although the same size, is just a small amount tighter in the toe area. Not saying which is better, just that it's different. I don't think I could have gone down a half size. The happy ending: I wore the white troup dance shoe to the YMCA today for Zumba with no problems. They pivoted nicely and staff didn't give the higher dance heels a second look (presumably since they were white, they were much less noticeable as dance shoes). The price was a bit lower as well. I am happy with the look and feel and price. I did not notice the arch support one way or the other.

Shoe runs small
I wear an 8, ordered an 8. It was too small. A 9 was perfect.

Love these shoes for line dancing class
Always needed but never quite got enough arch support in my previous dancing shoe choices. These are exactly what my feet needed. The fit is so comfortable and love the turning ball since we do a lot of turning. Would definitely recommend.

Where a size 7 US ordered size 8.5, is the company size 38. So ordered size 1 and a half larger.
Like the looks of product. I will see how the shoes hold up once I can get out line-dancing again.

Order a size up
Nicely made but too short. Order a size up

Excellent. But do size up.
Excellent. But I normally wear 7, I ordered an 8, based on other reviews, and the fit is perfect. In size 7, they would be way too short . Also I am thrilled that the shoe is not too narrow ! My feet are between normal width and wide width, and my toes have plenty of room !

still need to wear dance socks
they are very comfortable, but I find I still need to wear dance socks with them so that I can pivot easily
