Seems ok
When I opened the box the tip was loose. Seems to be fine after tighten it.
Scritto da: Has a good low flame.
Don't leave it on over night gets hot down to the valve.
Used to start wood stove..Noticed it has a much cleaner burn than a camp stove nice.

Mostly does the job
Yes it works well, but I have a complaint. It's quite difficult to light with a lighter. You have to adjust the pressure (on the BernzOmatic) to miniscule, else it won't light. And you have to sort of play with the miniscule pressure while lighting, else it won't light or goes right out. There is a trick to it. You have to finesse it a bit. It seems like they could improve the lighting experience so you don't have to resort to voodoo magic to get it lit. Once lit it works great.

Great torch for the money
Nice pencil flame. Manual ignition.

Cheap knob will break eventually
It works. The valve knob is made out of thin plastic. It'll be the first thing to break.

No visible outlet, but it works.
I cannot attest to the durabity of this product since I just received it. I did take the end of tube off and did not see an outlet hole for the propane. Many reviewers said the same. I then went to my barn and screwed it onto a propane bottle. When I turned the black knob to on, I could hear gas escaping. I put my igniter in front of the tube and it lit off. It is still a mystery how the gas gets through the tube. They must be extremely microscopic holes. But it works.

Quality torch
Quality old school torch that works perfectly that I bought to sweat copper pipe. The pin hole sized gas port is no accident and is designed to help control gas flow to get a focused pencil flame. I can’t attest to potential QA/QC issues of having no gas port as mentioned in other reviews. This torch is a simple design that has been around forever and is from a reputable company, so take those other (questionable) reviews with grain of salt.

NO HOLE ! but it works ... it's pure MAGIC!
so i saw all the negative posts about how there is no holes in the tube that the end cap screws on ... I previously bought another torch and i was disappointed with how large the flame was, i needed a nice blue pencil flame ... so this one was recommended ... well I received it and what do you know NO HOLE! i thought for a second I too got screwed ... then i remembered i had an old torch in the garage, what do you know it's the same model!! so i unscrewed it ... and it doesn't have a hole either! PURE magic!!!! so i screw the new one on to the bottle and ... out comes a beautiful flame .... Morale of the story ... don't return it and call it junk until you test it ... just because you can't see the hole or holes , doesn't mean somehow it's not there ... i wish I had a microscope to actually see how they achieved this .. but i can attest ... it works and it looks like there are no holes ... can't see them ... but it lights up and works... and that's all that matters! flame is beautiful pencil , and this will be a perfect match for my annealing machine !

Dosn’t work , no holes for gas to pass through , very cheaply made , could be a bad copy ?

Use a soldering pen this product makes no sense
This thing is so damn tiny I just don't see the point of it. Why lug around 2lbs of steel and propane for what is essentially just a cigar lighter? It's a smaller flame than a butane culinary torch. I know the flame is hotter but a 50 gram soldering pen with a 80:20 propane:butane blend produces almost the exact same type of flame with the same effect but much more convenience or use a oxyfuel jeweler's torch for less convenience but 5x the heat and precision.

DISAPPOINTED! Defective unit!! BE WARNED
Ordered this for a specific occasion well in advance. Left it in package for about 2 months and when I wanted to take it out into the field to use, i couldn’t get it to work. After troubleshooting a while, I found out that there was absolutely NO hole at the tip. So there was literally no way any propane could come out. It’s a manufacturing issue by the looks of it. Of course the return window has closed, and here I am with a defective product that doesn’t work at all. So be warned, your unit could be defective and with a device that’s made to “make fire” and mix air with propane, I would expect a better and stricter quality control. I’m so disappointed. But my lesson learned is to cheque stuff when it arrives...

Not how I remembered - Works well, but fairly low heat.
Inexpensive, but BARELY does the job that I needed it to do. Pros - Easy to fire up. Fairly quiet, Quality built. Very focused flame. Cons - Not nearly as hot as I remember (had one when I was a young lad). Knob adjustability is very touchy. The flame wants to be high or off. This is not great for soldering copper pipe or warming up large metal objects. It doesn't really have the heat output. It's still good to have around the shop, and I would probably rate it higher if I hadn't purchased it to solder copper plumbing.
