Get a different type of lock if you're gun will allow it

I've never been a fan of these type of gun locks but they have their intended purpose on specific firearms or BB guns that will not work with better types of gun locks such as ones that fit in the trigger housing. Sometimes there isn't always a trigger housing present or the specific type of gun requires this type of cable lock, but if the gun doesn't, and you're gun will work with another type of gun lock I would definitely recommend this lock only as a last resort. I also need to mention that this cable lock is very easy to cut compared to other gun locks if you have a good pair of cable cutters, grinder or similar device. It's also not quick to remove or reinstall. If you decide you have to have this type of lock for your gun, the good news is this lock does come with two keys, it has a coating on the cable to prevent it from scratching your gun easily, and it's works better than many of the other cable lock brands in this category of safety devices.
