Great product, with a unique tapered opening.

First and foremost, this comes in packs of two (at least mine did). I didn't see this indicated elsewhere and ended up purchasing too many, but that's ok because I'm happy to have some spares. Works great. Good quality. FYI, wire opening diameter is about 0.25", which is smaller than a lot of others and is what I was after with these. It looks like if you needed to you could carefully trim that taper to tightly fit whatever you needed, although they stretch reasonably well. The large/main diameter of the wire hole is about 0.5". Note, mine seem to be proportionally a little shorter that the picture (the length that extends down the wire).

Great for lug terminal battery

I did a rewiring for a dual battery setup on my boat and wound up with 4 new battery cables landing on lugged terminals. Cables were all ready made without me thinking about the need for insulation (duh). These went on over the ring terminals and fit tightly without me having to cut & recrimp new ring terminals on the cable.
