Not as pictured

I've bad a bright green Bodum for years that I love. Since it's about 10 years old I wanted to make sure I had a backup for when it inevitably dies. I saw this color and fell in love. In reality it's quite an ugly red. I give zero stars for the color. It is NOT what is pictured. But, the grinder is exactly like my 10 year old one so I guess I'll just have to look at this fugly thing for the next decade. Because I haven't used it yet and because the listing is so misleading, I'm giving 3 stars. Dear seller and Bodum, there are thousands of shades of Red. Online purchases rely on the photo of the item. You failed.

Works great!

Got the red to match with other red items in my kitchen. It looks more bright in person. I did buy the warranty incase it breaks after a year. SO FAR - This product is great for the money point. Grinds really fast and easily. Makes enough beans for like a strong 6 cups of coffee at a time. Have to refill in order to grind coffee for a full 12 cup pot of coffee. Doesn't bother me because this product works fast.

Perfect color and size

I think this is the perfect color and size for me. It’s very chic. I would say noise is slightly better than other model I have tried (Hamilton beach) but fairly standard for one of these. Functions well and I have no complaints and would buy for a friend!

Nice grinder for the price

Right out of the box, this coffee grinder was very easy to use and fairly quiet (quieter than my old one). I recommend grinding the coffee beans, and then tipping the whole grinder upside down to disengage the lid ( which is holding the ground coffee). This reduces the chance of spilling the coffee grounds on the counter when you remove the lid. Overall, it’s just as described and great for the price!

Oh yeaaaaaaaaahhhh that looks good

Almost all blade grinders work about the same for spices. The big difference here is how nice it looks. Solid red it stand out on the counter. The patterning is subtle and modern giving a fashionable flair to your cooking space and bringing it nicely into the 21st century in a market too full of faux retro designed appliances. Every time I get to grind spices I feel like a future boy.
