The Perfect Pour

I love this water kettle, not only because the pour spout has exactly the correct shape to pour (which a person would, me, would only know from using one that doesn't pour as nicely) but also the lid removes completely for easy cleaning and filling. The steam vents can be placed in any direction that is convenient for the user...so whether you are left-handed or right-handed you are can have the steam vents safely to the backside of the water kettle so as not to cause any steam accidents. The Black is nice and easy to clean when spattered by other food on the stovetop.

Buyer beware - use a timer with this kettle

This is a lovely tea kettle and I’ve used it for almost two years. However - because it doesn’t make noise when the water is done boiling it is VERY easy to forget it’s on the stovetop. My best advice is to ALWAYS set a timer so that you remember to check it once done boiling. It sounds silly as you’d think you wouldn’t forget about it but because it makes ZERO noise, it is easy to forget. It looks super chic but you need to be extra cautious with this one.

Just get it.

Absolutely love this kettle! The handle does not get hot at all if you put it over the right size burner, and you can tell when the water is ready by looking at the three steam release valves on the lid, so no annoying whistle! The pour is perfect--you can put the water right where you want it, the flow is steady and even, and no drips at all. Plus the design is so cool. For the price, you can't beat it. Highly, highly recommend.

Rusty chinese crap

With the cost of this item is should last a while. As others have said it rusts after a few months.

rusting at bottom seam after two days

I suppose they recommend that you thoroughly dry it out after every use - but I have a Chinese made Coffee Gator brand that rarely gets hand dried and has not rusted in 2 years.

Rusted within days -

I love the look and feel of this kettle but the inside has a half dozen rust spots already. Do not recommend unless you like bits of rust floating in your hot water.

Beautiful design but “meh” on gas stovetop

This is a beautifully designed kettle with a clean drip-free pour spout! I almost love it! If we had anything but a gas stovetop, I’d have given it 5 stars. You can’t have the flames flaring up the outer walls of the kettle, but it has a fairly small footprint. Therefore, you can’t run a gas flame much higher than simmer, which in turn means a long wait for my tea. Although a broader base would throw off its sleek design, it’s what you would really need for more efficient use on a gas stove. Bottom line: 5 stars for any stove but gas.

Love this kettle!

It is wide enough at the base (some others are so narrow they aren’t functional in the stove), it looks great and is solid.

Great pour, no whistle

Love the look of this kettle and it pours wonderfully. Comfortable to hold. It doesn’t whistle however so you can kind of hear it boil in the kettle and steam comes out the top so you can just tell when it’s boiling.
