Light and very big

Got this as an alternative to silicone collapsible bowls that I had, and was thoroughly impressed. I intend to mainly use this as a water bowl, in conjunction with the Wilderdog bowl (with cinches) for food, and it seems like a good fit. In comparison to the Wilderdog bowl, it's quite a bit lighter, but at the cost of the structure that the wilderdog bowl gives. In terms of waterproofing, I left it overnight with water in it to test and it didn't give any indication of a leak whatsoever. I noticed my dog actually preferred drinking out of this over a traditional steel water bowl. I also accidentally stepped on it (getting water everywhere) and it quickly snapped back to its normal shape, retaining whatever water I managed not to spill. The exterior dried off rapidly as well. The only issue (an extremely minor one) is that the bowl's naturally folding makes it a bit too wide for a Ruffwear Palisades pack. That being said, folding it differently doesn't seem like a problem, and it's pretty easy to get it to fit in anything. It might be a bit big as a trail water bowl, but the foldability of the bowl makes it pretty easy to add any excess water back into a nalgene (or other inferior bottle).

Lot better than dragging a reg bowl with us, would recommend for dogs smaller than 100 lbs.
