My old dog didn't like it at first but once he got used to it I think it really helped him feel a bit better. How easy it is to get on is going to depend greatly on your dog and mine fought me every step of the way and I still got it on him. He tried to chew it off at first but he didn't try very hard so I figure it must have been soothing to him in some way because he would have kept chewing otherwise. My main issue with this item is the price, I think it's just way too much but if you need it and can afford it then it's a decent quality item. 4 stars. *Thank you for taking the time to read my review and if it helped you make an informed decision either way about this product please let me know by taking a quick moment of your time to vote it Helpful so I can keep track of my most helpful reviews. I hope you have a wonderful shopping experience!*

Doesn't stay in place. Vet wrap is easier
If you're using this on a dog who is lying down and not walking around or trying to be active, it will probably work as is. However, if you have a normal dog, they get up and walk or rearrange themselves on their bed. When that happens, this contraption slides and shifts and you end up doing everything again. Not a great plan for directed therapy needs. The gel pack thingy is actually not bad and it stays cold awhile. We tried this on two different dogs - a 95lb German Shepherd mix and a 35lb mixed breed. It didn't fit either dog well and I ended up going back to my regular method. I use vet wrap and wrap the gel pack around the area. It does slip after awhile, but vet wrap is super easy to re-do when needed and very inexpensive.

Doesn't work
These wraps are a wonderful idea but very difficult to put into use. The fabric seems like high quality but the form and function are a fail.

Would be great with a little tweaking
This is a great concept and could be an easy 5 stars. But the ice needs to be held becaise it slips when he moves. For an older dog with arthritis or other issues with his legs this will be ideal once they fix a couple issues

Good for holding cold/warm packs in place on fur babies.
First off, this wrap comes with 1 small-medium-sized pack, which makes it easier to use and wear. Second, read the list of dog breeds that this fits, it is probably the most accurate way to size. Third, with cold/hot therapy, it is generally 20-30 minutes on ... 20-30 minutes off ... so it's probably a good idea to have another pack (especially if you are using the cold/freezer therapy). Lastly, this is meant for the elbow area; however, it call also be jerry-rigged to fit other parts of the body as needed (depending on the size of your dog and the size pack you buy). Also, as a suggestion, if your dog can't (or won't) wear this, I recommend laying/sitting down with your dog and simply holding the ice in place for the 20-30 minutes. Sometimes, after doing this a few times, it doesn't feel as strange, and then he/she will wear it on his/her own.

Hard to use, not so helpful!!
I don't like that this "Pet Therapy Wraps" .It is hard to set up and seem to be too purposed. The design can be way better. Pro!!! the gel bag that comes with it.
