These Chairs don't last
I bought this chair (one of many over the years) in Sept 2021, so lasted for 14 months. The metal clip holding the shoulder strap broke. Then one of the legs broke through the seat/canvas of the chair. I use this chair for my home visits to patients. I weigh about 145lbs and sit on it for about 45 minutes a couple times a day 3-4 times a day. Unfortunately, this is my 4th chair, different brands, and they aren't made to last. The strap is attached with poor-quality attachments and the corners need to be reinforced so they don't break the canvas down. I need this type of chair to carry with me to patient visits. Just wish they would last!

Good quality but not terribly comfortable
6'-1" 190 pound male says, "It works fine." This stool (not really a chair) is a little low to the ground for me, but a fair tradeoff for its portability. The unit I got was exactly as pictured on Amazon. All of the materials appear to be of good quality and the stool supports me just fine- I didn't feel as though I had to ease onto or off of it. The legs do not perform particularly well on soft ground, but that shouldn't be a mystery to anyone evaluating the product images. Slightly broader feet, given the force/dynamics created when one sits, would have been sensible. The one star ding is due to the seat size. It is pretty small so I found myself struggling with how to sit. If I straddled one of the triangle seating "points", it had the not-so-pleasant, poorly adjusted bike seat feel to it. If I tried to wedge my butt between points along one of the "legs" of the seat's triangle, it just wasn't wide enough to be comfortable and the legs poked me in each cheek. I have a 32" waist, so I could be considered "slim." Also, as a guy, I tend to sit with the gate open (legs apart). Simply put- there was no room and no comfortable accommodation for male equipment for extended seating. This stool is perfect for a child (even a big kid) or for a relatively thin adult for short sits, but not suitable for a day of sedentary joy by more uhhh... size-challenged individuals- particularly men. It is, however, a great companion to throw in the "beach box" or "camping box" as an extra seat for the inevitable moron that forgets his/her chair and incessantly steals yours every time you get up. NOTE: I also have a similar style stool with the folding legs. Although it is much more portable and a bit lighter, it is not nearly a sturdy or stable.

Great for hurry up and waiting.
I'm a Fire Alarm Technician. Testing systems is a tedious job on your feet all day. When I find myself stationed in one spot at the panel. It's great to have a seat ready. Very sturdy. Not the most comfortable, but beats standing.

Perfect, light, travel stool!!
I bought this specifically for our trip to Disney. I have a connective tissue disorder Ehlers Danlos and thus it affects me standing for long periods of time. Especially static in line. So I got this to be able to carry and pop out when needed to take a seat in long lines or waiting for a long time where there isn't always somewhere to sit. Especially in the bus lines. Well this worked out FABULOUSLY! This stool is very compact and light. It was just small enough to fit into my husband's backpack, but it was also light enough for me to carry myself on occasion without bothering my shoulders too much or at all. The seat is small but comfortable enough for short spurts. 20-30 min would be tops and then you would need to take a walk or move around a bit or just stand up. I occasionally allowed my kids to sit on my lap for a few moments as well and it was tolerable, if it wasn't I would have had to make them get off right away. It really is so light though and that is what made it so perfect. I also have used it around the house out picking blueberries and it worked great! The kids also grab it and use it around the house. If we go hiking or camping I would definitely take it with me. Anywhere you might go that you need a break and may not have a seat available and sitting on the ground is not conducive to your body (like me) this is a great stool it is very lightweight and compact and comfortable. Definitely worth it!!! Also wanted to note that the strap is adjustable and also can be unclipped if you need to remove it or want to clip it to your pack or something else. It should be long enough for most people to comfortably carry it around over their shoulder. I am 5'4 and a sz med about 130lbs.

Perfect for my needs
This is light enough to sling across my back while cross-country skiing and easy to unfold to sit on if I need a break during my adventures.

One of the more comfortable crotch chairs
The 3-cornered "crotch" stool always seemed to be handy, so, I've sat in every one I've ever seen. This is one of the more comfortable to sit it, though that's not saying much, hah. It will be OK for some, and not-so-much, for others... for relatively short sits (maybe 1 hour, max). I finally bought this chair when I was headed to a dog field event. It did the job, and will be good for future use. The chair came with a few issues. First, the rubber feet were just pushed onto the leg tubes, but, not attached, and would be all too easy to lose. Each foot had a hole in its sleeve, where you can clearly imagine that a screw or rivet would go through, to attach it to the metal leg. I happened to have some aluminum pop rivets on hand, so, I drilled matching holes in the legs, and affixed the feet. Second, the wrap-strap would not even go all the way around the folded chair, and, was just in the way. I cut it off. Third, the carry strap is just barely long enough to allow a thin person to sling the chair over a shoulder. For me, it was easier to put the chair into my day pack (sticking out), since I would carry the pack, anyway. The top is made of good material, and appears well-sewn. The legs are of appropriate strength. I like the instant deployment of this stool. Zero setup time! See the photo, where this chair is compared to a Byer Tri Lite, and a GCI PackSeat. -- Months later -- I saw a Slacker Chair stool in an outdoor store, today. The feet were riveted on, as I knew they should be.

Not a good build / QC
When it came, it had rattling sound from inside the frame. I'm assuming its metal from where the drilled in the screws or seat that ended up inside the frame, and it could not be removed. Kind of annoying. The quality is also sub par when looking at the price paid.
