Fits smaller umpires

This is a perfect chest protector for me. I am 110 lbs 5'5". I had trouble finding a chest protector that was way too big. This one fit perfectly after adjusting the straps. It will also be good for larger people but not really big folks. I took a shot off the shoulder the first time using it and didn't feel a thing.

Haven't got hit yet, but is light and comfortable. Honestly, for the price I can complaint. It good for begginer umpire.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

I ordered this item in April so I would be ready for umpiring the Little League which started on May 19th. One of the plastic clasps broke during the first wear and now I cannot clasp it in the back. I went to return it and it says I missed the return date which was May 15th. The fit really good and comfortable but that does not do any good if the clasp is broke and I have to wear it lose in the back.

Good for games up to Babe Ruth

I have used this chest protector for about 4 yrs now. Its light weight and comfortable and is a good entry level chest protector. It has great upper/shoulder protection. The front and lower pads are ok for up to BR (15 yr olds) but now that I also do SR BR I want something that absorbs the blow a little better. The shoulder pads are good enough for the big guys but the actual chest pads are not quite adequate enough for that level play.
