Love these things. The whistle helps my dog navigate under the flying ball and the holes allow him to crush them without having them split at the seams right away like the regular ones do.

Perfect ball but doesn’t float!

My dog absolutely loves these balls but we’ve lost a few taking them anywhere there is a stream or pond. They do Not float. That said, they’re otherwise the longest lasting balls we’ve had.

These are the Best Retrieval Balls!

My border collie loves these! They have the weight to fly far, make a whistle that my dog dog can track, make crazy bounces, are sturdy, yet are soft enough for him to grab and chew. They'd be perfect except that they do eventually get lost from time to time, but I just buy new ones to replace them.

Awesome dog toys!

My dog LOVES his ball! He is a bully breed and normally destroys a ball in less than ten minutes. He has had these for several months and they are still holding up strong, and he chews on them regularly!

Perfect fetch ball for my dog.

These balls are amazing. They are firm enough but bouncy enough. The holes in them make a noise in the air which helps the dog track the flight and adds to the fun. They are easy to clean and last forever. Great value.

Purchased these after a particularly busy weekend of watching my lab pup and all of his park pals rip each tennis ball I produced into sad little felt strips. Sigh. There must be an alternative I thought! Then along came Buddy the Boxer with his chuckit and Mrs Buddy (who ever knows the owners names?!) proudly confirmed he'd had it 3 weeks without so much as a bite mark! Arrived they did, destroy it he tried, failed he did! Easy to clean, nice fit in the launcher and good colours to spot on a grassy expanse/in a ball thiefs slobbery chops. Now if I could just find the hole he buried them in, I'd be laughing.

Tough!

Purchased for a German Shepherd who loves chewing balls into oblivion! These have stood up well to his huge jaw and sharp teeth. The whisling holes seem to allow the ball to squash down and spring back, as well as making a slight but high pitched noise when you throw them (I assume the dog hears it much better than us humans, as he seems to go accurately hurtling after the ball time and again!) They have only sustained slight marking, when any other ball would be (and has been!) in pieces by now. Although they may be considered fairly expensive, if they last like this, then it's cheaper in the long run than buying several cheap toys/balls! I must say that I'm tempted to purchase a few more from the range and hope that they live up to these ones for durability!

SINKS - lost on first outing

Was fun at first. The "whistle" is quite a subtle noise made by a few holes in the ball - but dog seemed to like it. BUT there is a small pond thing in our local common. More of a big muddy puddle really. Anyway the dog ran in with the ball and dropped it. It immediately sank into the muddy water. Near the edge, and only about 6 inches deep, but totally opaque muddy water. Could I find it? No! Lesson learned - don't buy balls that sink.

good ball, doesnt float

love these balls, they go for miles out of a launcher and have a great amount of bounce, my collies fav ball so far. same size as a tennis ball so will work with all standard related equipment. they do kinda whistle but only for the first meter after launch, either they go to high pitched for humans to hear (or more likely) just aren't designed right. made no matter for me because I prefer quiet balls. ok so this my one big issue and why they arent 5 star >>>>> THEY DO NOT FLOAT!!!!<<<<< Ive lost two of them already in the sea because they sink like a rock, not the biggest issue as they are quite cheap but not for use near rivers or the sea. over all love them, just wish they were more buoyant

Great balls!

All those words for the star rating effectively mean the same thing guys! In this case I never recieved the product I ordered. Got some random squeaky balls of the same brand in the size down for what I required and originally ordered. I contacted the seller to rectify and had to provide photos as proof. I asked for a returns label to swap not a refund. You'd have been able to see I had the wrong item when it got back to you. You even had the packers name on the packaging, he clearly couldn't be bothered reading the order details. Not a great customer experience all together. Despite that I have had these balls before and they're great. I have an excitable Springer and when he's too busy running as opposed to looking where the ball is actually going they whistle so he now listens for that. They last well. He likes to chew them as he walks and had never destroyed one (a dog could though they're not advertised as 'indestructible'). The only reason I had to replace them is through loss i.e the kids not looking where they're throwing them, the dog not looking or they sink in water and haven't been recovered. There is some colour fade over time but that's to be expected through hard use. The glow in the dark ones are great as well.
