I would buy again

I've used these as canteens for years. Given away more than one. Comfortable on hikes or in camp, they are deceiving on how much beverage they hold.

Fragile parts on the mouthpiece

The plastic pieces on the mouthpiece and the gasket are quite fragile and began to crack after one use, so I’ve had to be cautious while using it. Other than that, it’s great!

Ordered two for my boys going out skiing together.

Got 2 for my boys one is 35 the other is 9 for skiing ????. Showed them how to hang it around your neck and tucked under their arm pit and stowed under your jacket so you won’t hang yourself if you have an issue on the chair or in the woods! I told them that’s what I used for hydration when I went on my skiing adventures. Nope! Not at all, mine had schnapps or wine in it. Oh they didn’t leak and looks just like my old one. Awesome.

Taste like plastic

My son loves this, but he won’t drink out of it because he says it tastes like plastic. I washed it out really well for him and then he said it tasted like soap and plastic. I rinsed it again for 20 mins with scalding hot water. We let it dry hanging it upside down. Filled it a little, still plastic taste. Bummer.

Water bottle

My nephew loved this water bottle. He is all cowboyish and really appreciated that we got him this boot. It looked like it would work good, but I have yet to see it in use.

Great for canoeing with wine

I took this canoeing with me for wine. I sprayed it down with water sealent to make sure river water didn’t mix with my wine. My friends laughed at me at the beginning of the trip, but by the end they were very jealous. Their canteens were cumbersome, and expensive. I could sink the bag in the water so the cold river water would cool my wine. This could be opened and used one handed. It was easy to pass around and let my friends squeeze the wine into their mouths, this way no one had to share germs. Great purchase if you want to drink wine on the water with friends.

Super practical

I had one years ago when I used to ski because they don't even realize there's another and this is just the way I remember it small high-capacity easily accessible you can hang it over your shoulder under your arm while you're on the boat skiing camping hiking it's just very practical highly recommend to anybody of the things I just said

Good for sports

Bought this to take to soccer games. Had used a bota bottle for skiing and finally thought to use for soccer as well. Hang around my neck and no hassles. Two liters is a good amount for three hours in the heat (live in Texas). Nothing real special about this one, but it seems well made so I assume it will hold up well (time will tell).

Contains DHEP which is banned as a carcinogen in EU

I was shocked to receive this and see a warning that it contains DHEP, a chemical banned in the EU since 1999 as a carcinogen and teratogen. There was no information to this effect available prior to purchase or I would not have ordered it. Glad the warning was there, but should not be for sale.

DO NOT PURCHASE - label warns that it’s made from cancer causing materials that can cause birth defects/reproductive harm. Shame on you Amazon! Why make a product used for drinking beverages with these materials. Straight in the trash. Don’t waste your money.
