I have 5 cats
5 cats! Someone is always fighting pooping, peeing or throwing up. I use these on my two big males and it has helped tremendously. My wife first ordered these about 3 years ago and I was skeptical. But I ate my words. They show a remarkable difference in the cats behavior after wearing them for only a few days . The plastic clasp is lightweight but that’s good. I don’t like sturdy collars on cats as they can get hung up. My cats are indoor outdoor and I wouldn’t want them to get trapped by a strong collar or clasp. Despite their lightweight design we have only lost 1 or 2 of them to the great outdoors as I can remember

They work!!
Trust me when I tell you they work!! My 14 year old cat has been urinating out of the litter box from time to time for quite a while. He’s been checked and nothing is every found as far as his kidneys or bladder. The vet said it’s more of a behavioral issue. Anyway, we tried the pheromone plug in’s and they seemed to work for a while, but then lost their effectiveness. The vet suggested to collar and it has WORKED. Since he’s been wearing them, which has been about 4 months, I think he has had two incidents of urinating outside of the box, but believe me when I tell you that I’ll take that over how much he was doing it before the collar! I would definitely give these a try if you’re not sure, but they definitely worked for us.

So far so good
I am a foster, & last year I foster failed (adopted) 2 baby boys. We already have an almost 15 year old brother/sister pair. Our female has a bit of cat agression & did not do well. Once I added my next group of foster kittens, it became too much for her & for the 1st time in her 15 years of life, she started peeing on the floor. I tried feliway spray & plug ins (which def work & are a part of my arsenal), I gave her a bit more vertical space, & I stopped fostering for a few months, but she would still go outside of the box. She is scared to death of 1 of the new babies & fears being attacked when using the litter box. I put 1 of these collars on her, & the peeing has completely stopped. When it was time for a new collar, she did go outside the box for a period of about 24 hrs, & same when it was time to change it again. I am so happy I tried these! I would much rather deal with 24 hrs every 30 days, than clean cat pee multiple x's a day every day. I just put 1 on my little baby bully a couple of days ago to see if it would help his behavior, so I will update this review if anything noteworthy happens.

Unsure
I’ve only had this product for one day, I don’t think this will work for my cat, Zoey. Background, she doesn’t play, never really has. She will play for 2.5 seconds and runs away. It’s almost like she thinks playing is wrong. Anyway, I have two other cats who play hardcore together, they try to play with her, but she just growls and hisses or she screams bloody murder if they get too close. After a year and a half together, she just random started peeing on their beds and in the toy bin and pooping random places. Vet didn’t find anything wrong and suggest calming collar, so here we are. 1. Some people mentioned a scent, I don’t smell anything. 2. Easy to put on / Easy to fall off. When I put it on I heard a slight clicks thought it was on good. Next thing I know, the collar is missing. Found it under the sofa table. Later, Zoey was scratching her neck and collar became loosen then fell right off. 3. Main reason why I don’t like, this made Zoey act WEIRD. She sat in the same place, same position for a good hour and did not move. Then she had weird twitches, like you could see random parts of her body, just slightly jump, and it was like it freaked her out. She would be laying there and the twitch she would run a few feet then immediately sit down. This went on for about 30 minutes. Then she slept for the ENTIRE day, did not move one inch. I woke her up and put her on the floor, she just moped, she acted so lethargic. I gave her some wet food, she wouldn’t eat, it’s her favorite. I decided to take the collar off. About 30 minutes later, she was acting like her normal self and she scarfed down the food. I don’t know if the collar traumatized her, or if the ingredients are too strong for her, or if the collar stressed her more. Since I have three extra collars I will hang on to these and may try another time, but, I will try the diffuser to see if that makes any difference.

These collars work well.
This is the 5th time I have ordered these. They are easy to use and do calm my cats. The best I have seen. I do not like the purple ones with the strong odor. Also in the pet store these identical collars are $25 each. This four pack is an excellent buy.

I think it is working
It says not for kittens but I have a very aggressive six month old kitten/cat. Within a day of putting the collar on my boy, he slowed down on attacking the other two old kitties we have and the biting behavior noticeably decreased. The correlation between putting the collar on him and his improved behavior was significant enough that Mochi has to wear it all the time now. They do come off fairly easily, which is good but also means I have two in rotation - one he is wearing and the one that is lost.

The only thing keeping the peace
My cats (a mom and son) started fighting about a year ago—it was bad. They’d corner each other and fight until they were bleeding. The first set of collars didn’t help much, but gave me a few days of peace. I’ve continued using them since and it keeps them calm enough that the fights don’t escalate beyond hissing.
