The water proofing is strong

I had been wearing my hiking boots while snowshoeing which work well with the structure and wearability of the snow shoes but did suffer from just straight up getting wet which translated down to cold toes. These boots eliminated wet toes completely and, in a survival situation would save your feet which is great. A downside is that these boots do not double well as hiking boots when you take the snow shoes off. They’re very rigid and don’t move as well with the natural movement of hiking. Maybe I haven’t worn them in enough and I realize that it’s a lot to expect from a boot to be perfectly suitable for all applications but for snowy, freezing, and wet conditions, these boots are well worth the price.

Stays warm and dry

Very roomy fit and super comfortable. I normally wear 10.5 but decided to get a half size up after reading some reviews. I'm glad that I did because it's a perfect fit with a bit of wiggle room for the toes. I wore this outside in the snow during winter and it kept my feet warm and dry.

Looks like for ever boots.

The construction of it are looks very professional looks strong and big, i had no time to used them on the snow yet. Waiting for my next trip to ski ???? finally im try it on the snow mountain in New mex, And they are feelt nice and warm

Lightweight!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh gads, my husband has been stomping around every winter for many years with his Bogs that are so heavy... they are weatherproof all right, but these are 1,000% better for our situation! For all these years he's watched in envy while I danced around in my own lightweight Columbia snow boots, FINALLY he said this summer "Winter is coming, I dread it, why haven't you ever fixed me up with something like those snow boots that YOU have??" So I looked for Columbia boots like mine, and these are the ones I found, ordered them immediately for him. He tried them on when they arrived and already LOVES them! I can't say that he's looking forward to this coming winter, but he sure is thrilled with the fit of these boots. Did a little dance in them to test them out. Now while he dreads another freezing winter, at least he won't be stomping around like Frankenstein's Monster is his huge black Bogs that most of the time I'd have to yank off of his feet for him. They were so heavy that he often couldn't yank them off by himself unassisted after many hours outdoors. Columbia snow boots ROCK! I have a pair that I've worn every winter for the last eight years, I believe these Men's Bugaboots will last for at least eight years now that my stubborn husband has finally converted to wanting warm and comfortable snow boots of his own!

Great outdoor winter boot

I read a lot of reviews before selecting these. Great tread for snow and ice. Easy to get on and off (my main complaint from my last boots). Great fit. The reflective heating absolutely works. Second biggest complaint on my old boots was my toes freezing. These solved that issue. Even snow blowing for hours? Feet warm. Can’t say enough about fit, comfort, and traction. Worth every penny.

Smelling mildew

The boots go on easily and other than being too wide for me, they are great. I have had them out in the snow and they seem waterproof, but any snow that melts on them must be getting in as I am smelling mildew. I believe Columbia buys the waterproof tags by the truckload. They state you can return for any reason, then say they must be new and unused, like you buy them, never wear them and then return them.

I were a different boots before, but this is the new level of comfort and design, wow I am in heaven, strong and made for men. Definitely recommend. Do buy it is worth.

Toll, aber:

Superschöne Schuhe, aber man hat leider das Gefühl, Betonklötze an den Füßen mit sich herumzutragen...und zwar nicht, weil die Schuhe schwer sind (was sie nicht sind), sondern weil das Material extrem unflexibel, um nicht zu sagen: steinhart, ist. Der Trage“komfort“ erinnert mich an Skistiefel, da diese ja ebenfalls sehr hart und wenig flexibel sind (was auf der Skipiste natürlich von Vorteil ist). Habe mich inzwischen durch einige Rezensionen auf amerikanischen Websites durchgewühlt. Dort beschreiben die Rezensenten vielfach Ähnliches, berichten dann aber von einem mit der Zeit einsetzenden „Breaking in“ der Schuhe, d.h. dass sie dann irgendwann doch nicht mehr so steinhart- klotzig sind ;-)! Da mir die Schuhe optisch sehr zusagen, und ich mir auch von der angepriesenen Wärmeisolation der Schuhe viel erhoffe, werde ich sie wohl behalten. Aber den Leuten, die sich kuschelig- bequeme Snowboots wünschen, in die man einfach nur hineinschlüpft und sich SUBITO wohlfühlt, werden mit diesem Modell keine Freude haben. Jede Wette :)!

Probabilmente ottimi, ma ....

Acquistato il 39,5 per mia moglie che usa questo numero nelle scarpe da running di quasi tutte le marche, ma il piede dentro si muove troppo. Pertanto sostituiti con il modello simile (Bugaboot III) di numero 39 che invece va benissimo come taglia. I celsius sono sicuramente più attraenti e morbidi nella parte alta della tomaia, ma presumiamo non adattissimi a lunghi percorsi perché la suola è piatta e quasi senza drop. Il modello Bugaboot III ha una suola sagomata più a scarponcino. Presumiamo quindi più adatti ad essere usati con ramponcini e probabilmente anche con le ciaspole.
