a bit flimsy but can't beat the price and works well enough

Very poor quality especially from crown. Purchased at Amazon

Vvery poor quality especially from crown Supposed to be a diamond parting tool and the widest part of the tool was not centered so it burned the wood. Even the steel did not seem to be good tool steel. I emailed Crown about this and they are sending me a replacement so they still have excelent customer service. I will amend this when I recieve the one from Crown. I received a new tool from crown foc and am very happy with this one. It is crown quality.

not up to the quality I expect from crown

I own several Crown lathe tools and buy them for the quality product You would expect for the price you pay. I order the 1/8" diamond parting tool for the same reason. What I received was a big disappointment. The tool handle graphics were unreadable, the shaft was ground unevenly the feral was loose on the handle and the finish was very poor quality. I'm sure the tool was usable as is but the quality was just unacceptable. Crown you need to check your quality control.

Don’t buy.

Don’t waist your money the is a piece of junk. The diamond grind down the side looks like a snake and the steel is curved.

unmatched side bevel grinds

It's pretty much impossible to use this tool. The grinding bevels are different on each side, therefore making it impossbke to be able to grind a cutting edge the is straight across. I would have expected more from Crown Tools. Don't waste your money.
