Effective tool but not for my specific weeds
My backyard has gotten seeded with an invasive blue grass. Tiny little fine rooted plants with even tinier seeds which spread like wildfire. This tool made it easier to just go ahead and pull each by hand--exactly what I was trying to avoid. The prongs clumped with soil with each attempt and I had to clear them each time. I found myself using it as a 'staff' to lean on, in frustration, as I pulled the clumps by hand. Going back to using the pair of old scissors as a pry like in the past seems the way to go. I did find it perfect for pulling out dandelions and other larger sturdier weeds, though. It just wasn't good for removing the weeds I purchased it expressly for. I still have time to make up my mind about returning it or not. It is a strong, well built tool and obviously perfect for many uses. I had NO difficulty expanding its length. Doing so is intuitive, actually. Put a second's thought into it, folks, and you should have no trouble.

Weed digger
There was one big problem. The arrows showing how to twist the pole to change the size was printed wrong. Several people tried to help me make it longer but were not able to loosen it. Finally my son took time to experiment with it he finally discovered the flaw.

I have peat gravel
I have peat gravel. I was looking for a weed removal tool that could navigate thru the small rock, attack, uproot and terminate the weed! It is FANTASTIC! I LOVE the telescoping feature! When working from the knee, In its collapsed mode, I can cover more ground quickly in the areas where a cluster of 7-12 weeds reside that are 3-7” apart from each other. When working upright and the pole is extended, it is easy to knock out the Lone Ranger single weeds that are 4-6’ apart! Highly recommend! Will definitely buy again!

Nice and sturdy, but...
Unfortunately, we had to return this because it wasn't going to work for our needs, but as a weed puller I think it would work just fine

This Hoe does what was expected…
Needed a hoe with extension for my small flower garden and this does the job! The extension is great! It was a bit hard to extend initially but figured it out. Seriously sturdy. Kinda light weight, but the materials used for the sturdiness makes it a little bit more substantial than a lightweight piece of plastic. It’s metal.

I'm in love
It certainly works, both as advertised and the way I want to use it. I've graduated from Roundup to vinegar/salt spay, to rooting out the little devils. There is one kind of weed we get, a sort of tiny vine, that likes to grow in the cracks between pavers: that one, I'll use the vinegar/salt on (google it). The spray takes a couple of apps to complete the job, but mechanical weeding of the root is pretty permanent, and there's no overspray danger. A-1.

Feels sturdy!
Corona GT3050 GT 3050 Extendable Handle Rake, 18"-36" I initially had a little struggle to unlock and extend the pole. It is working fine now. Quality is excellent. I will be using this rake for a long time, unless someone decides to "borrow it" and forget to return it!! I recommend to purchase. Have not had a problem since purchased.

Perfect size
The adjustable handle makes this rake ideal for all kinds of jobs around the yard. The handle locks into position .

Cut down the Corona!!!
Purchased this because it was a "Corona cutting tool". Perfect for getting rid of the virus in and around your house...just swing it around and BAM, dead viruses everywhere! I like the fact that it is also extendable, allowing for versatility when using. Although maybe a few extra inches would be a bit better since I'm fairly tall. If you are looking to get rid of corona, this is a great tool! Also great for gardening purposes as well I guess.

Small soil plots only
I thought the product was going to be a little larger but it still worked out ok for my raised bed. This is perfect for smaller jobs. The hoe blade on hoe/rake combo model is 2.5” wide. Good for large condo planters but the handle maybe too long and heavy for small applications that require more manoeuvrability. It’s a niche market tool. It has a strong heavy handle but rather small hoe head. Don’t expect to move mounds of dirt. It’s more for targeted maintenance after everything has grown and where a large hoe will not work. Not sure why so many people are having difficulty turning and operating the extension. It technically isn’t marked backwards as some have said. The turning arrows are attached to the part that turns. You turn the red handle—not the tapered plastic piece at the front.

Pretty useful Lil Hoe!
I fiiiiinally got around using it after I ordered it a year ago. I had a little project in mind when I ordered it, but I kept postponing it after I got and then winter came. Now I finally got to it and this lil tool helped me finish it pretty fast. It's sturdy lil thing. I extended it to its max and it worked pretty good. I wish it extended maybe even a foot longer since I'm 6' and still had to bend quite a bit. Regardless, I finished my project and am very happy. This thing is pretty good quality and I like the fact that it's retractable if I ever need it in its lowest setting. Oh. It's a bit pricey at $40 something but you pay for the quality and its versatility I guess.

Good for work indoors
I have not used this rake for work in a garden, but it is useful for cleaning hard to reach areas in living area. If things are under desks, this rake seems like a very useful tool to clear those areas. The one point I should mention is that the decal for opening the rake actually points in the wrong direction. On the rake that I have, the decal points "Counter Clockwise" which is actually the way to lock the extension. Turning the knob in the opposite direction, "Clockwise" is the way to open the extension. Other than that, the quality seems fine, it might be a bit heavy to use for long periods of time. Otherwise, fine quality of manufacturing,

Hopefully will last as long as our previous one
We bought one of these Corona rakes about 10-12 years ago at Lowe’s. Last year the tines began breaking off and so we set out on a quest to find a new one. Lowe’s didn’t have them anymore and so we almost bought some cheesy plastic compact rake, until I checked Amazon. I ordered it immediately. It’s identical to our old rake except that the tines are now thick round wire as opposed to flat steel. Quality still seems to be there. This is a great rake for raking in and around plants and shrubs.
