Great faucet!

This faucet was a cinch to install. And it looks fantastic. Has great pressure, faucet and sprayer, but the one I had before was really weak. Couldn't be more happy! And even more so because I did it myself in less than 1hr.

Drips

This was a replacement faucet of the of what I previously purchased about 10 yrs ago. The faucet drips several times when shut off. Not the same quality for sure.

Delta is solid

This is larger, heavier than it looks but perfect for my kitchen. I'm delighted and impressed. It took me about 30 minutes to completely install it. Easy diy upgrade.

Frequent repair needed?

Good and bad = 3 stars. Bought 1st in 2011. It froze up and leaked after 8 years. Bought 2nd on 7/1/2019. It also got stiff and started leaking around Dec, 2020 (17 months). Took it apart, cleaned, greased, and it was OK for a couple weeks, then started leaking again. Have to jiggle handle and press down hard to stop leak. Went to Google/Youtube and found hundreds of reports on the leak problem and how to fix. One said just call Delta and you will get a new "on/off" cartridge free under lifetime warranty. I did that and got the best customer service I've seen in years. An actual English speaking agent, very well trained and helpful. Got the new cartridge free via UPS. Also found it on Amazon/Home Depot for $25 to $50. Large quantities in stock, signaling a high demand for the part. Looks like I'll have to get a new free one every 2 to 3 years.

Easy to install

Just got this faucet (Delta Faucet 4453-AR-DST Linden Single Handle Kitchen Faucet with Spray, Arctic Stainless) and installed it myself with no problems. I am a sixty year old woman that just followed the instructions that came with the faucet. The hardest part was getting off the old faucet, and I was glad I had plenty of tools to do that with. This was the first time I installed a faucet by myself. The plastic water lines that come already attached do not look as sturdy as the heavy duty ones that I had on the previous faucet, but they work. I wound up ordering the new arctic stainless color because they had a used one like new in this color. It looks just fine with my older stainless steel sink and looks the same as the sink to me. (They say the arctic stainless has a blue cast to it rather than the yellow cast of traditional stainless.) I have had zero problems using it. Since the handle swivels to either side, there is plenty of room to fit pots under it. It has a great stream of water. You do have to make sure you turn it right in the middle to turn it off, but this is not a problem. My only disappointment is that it seems really big to me, especially at the end of the spout. That is okay, though, and a matter of personal taste. Seems like a very good faucet for the money.

Strange plumbing attachment

The faucet is a good quality unit, but finding "off" can be a little annoying. The lever has to be EXACTLY on center or it won't turn off completely. The other more troubling item is the way it hooks up to the house plumbing. The supply lines comming out of the faucet are 3/8" PEX, not the ususal copper. PEX is very stiff, and would not flex to directly hook up to my house plumbing. So I cut the PEX back half way, installed Sharkbite PEX to PT thread adapters, and installed standard braided hoses from the adapters to my water source. An extra expense, and extra time. Delta needs to stick with standard installation methodology and quit trying to save a couple of bucks on every faucet.

Nice Heavy Duty Faucet for a Good Price

Delta seems to have some issues with their diverters clicking on and off and this faucet is no exception. When you first turn on the water you will sometimes get a few stutters as the diverter to the sprayer sounds like it wants to engage. A lot of Delta (and other brands) faucets seem to do this however and it is more of a nuisance than an actual issue. This is the reason for a one star deduction. As far as fit and finish this is a high quality faucet. I love the heavy weight of it and the chrome finish can last a lifetime. It has an elegant look and a reasonable price. The sprayer is plastic, as are almost all sprayers. This is due to the concern of burning from heat transfer. If you have a metal sprayer and your water is too hot, a metal sprayer could burn your hand. The plastic acts as an insulator and is the main reason you will find all faucet sprayers made of plastic today. I occasionally carry one of these on my plumbing truck for customers who may want to get a simple update rather than just a repair done. Delta has good customer service if ever there is an issue.

Hard to control temp easily. Possibly would work better in a low pressure ...

Stream of water is too small/narrow & too strong. The sprayer is too direct, too forceful, and does not spread it out. Need to turn the tap right down to use sprayer. Hard to control temp easily. Possibly would work better in a low pressure zone. We are in a 75psi area and would not recommend. Return and refund was awesome and easy though!
