Just so you know…

..i love these. Very easy to use and plug in, however, can be a little hard to pull out. Stays snug and small kids really can’t get them out.

These are light weight plastic socket plugs. They insert fine but don't have much thickness to them.

When our son was old enough to start crawling, he, like most other babies, found some weird fascination with wall outlets. So, we knew it was time to get some outlet plugs to deter him from sticking anything in the outlets. After reading a few reviews, we decided to go with this product. They worked perfectly and are still working with him now at 17 months old. Pros: - You get 24 of them. For us, this set did the critical areas of the house. We always keep the doors closed to the other areas, so we haven't seen the need for a second set just yet. - The surface of them is flat. While some plugs offer a tab that can be pushed to easily pull them out, these are flat. We didn't realize at the time of purchase just how important this was. When my mom gave me a handful of the tabbed outlets, we put them in his play room and noticed him immediately figuring out how to pull them out. We were mortified that the safety device that was supposed to keep our child away from the outlets, drew him to them because he knew he could remove them. He hasn't figured out how to remove these flat faced plugs yet. - They're clear. The other plugs that my mom gave us was, according to her, white at one time. She's only had them for 2-3 years (she used them with my brother's children when watching them) and they have already yellowed pretty badly. With clear, 1.) you don't really see them, and 2.) you don't have to worry about them turning that ugly yellow color. Cons: - These plugs, as with 99% of all other plugs, can easily be placed in the mouth of a toddler. We've accidentally left a few laying about after vacuuming, to notice our son picking them up and trying to stick them in his mouth. The first time, he almost had the whole plug in his mouth. While I don't think he could have swallowed it, it could have certainly not been good had he got it stuck in his mouth. But, if you don't leave them laying around, this won't be an issue. All in all, these plugs were a great investment for us, especially given they were very affordable. If you're looking to baby proof your home, I would highly recommend these plugs as your first step!

24 in this lot - which is a awesome deal!

You can NEVER have too many of these available with little ones in the home. I have had these in my homes for years and these little handy plugs are perfect. They keep little hands out of the plugs. Just having them in the plug deters them from even trying to stick their hands in there. Easy in and a bit difficult to pull out of plug, which is exactly what you want. They are durable and strong plugs, I have purchased some in the past and they are a bit flimsy. NOT these. Included in this unit is a total of 24. Thank you. Below is my rating on this product, I give it a 5 Stars. * 1 star (Nope, DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL!): I would either return or throw away this product. It was a waste of my money and not functional. I will never order again. ** 2 star (Think twice before buying - don't like it): I'm not a fan of this item and I won't order it again, but it has at least one positive quality. *** 3 star (It’s ok): This item has both positive and negative qualities. It may work for some people, but I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase or recommend it. **** 4 star (I like it): This item arrived and functions as advertised. I have no complaints about these outlet covers other than I wish they weren't quite so wide. Some of my surge protectors are oriented with the outlets facing sideways so the covers overlap a bit. If I want to remove any I have to start with the one on the end. It isn't obvious at first, but the covers actually have a top and a bottom so make sure you plug them in the right way. Edit: Downgrading to 3 stars because I realized the plugs are too big to fit comfortably into one of my surge protectors. Disappointing.

Great value for money, doing the job so far

The media could not be loaded. Not very easy to remove, I’m amazed at the price because others are over priced, yet they perform almost the same or worse. So this is a great deal, I recommend as they are doing the job.

Outlet covers for insulating against cold air coming in.

My energy assessment advised me to insulate my electrical outlets and when I checked them, there was a surprising amount of cold coming through them. I purchased these to cover unused outlets where cold air was coming in. I also added foam insulation to the outlets for another layer of insulation. Together they work well and increase the warmth of my home for very little money.
