Easy to install - ensure you order the right size (standard vs elongated)
This seat is super easy to install (no tools needed). We haven't removed it yet, but I imagine the ease will help if you need to move or remove it for certain reasons. Unfortunately, I thought we had standard seats (without double-checking). The Standard box said it could fit some elongated toilets; however, it didn't work out for us. Not dinging the product for that since it was my mistake. Due to my mistake, I was unable to return the device (since I had taken it out of the manufacturer's box). I would recommend if your seat is slightly elongated, you likely want to go ahead and get the Elongated version so you don't end up with two. If your seat is "loose" or not securely anchored, either you do not have the knob completely twisted, or you have the wrong size of seat. When I tried to install the "Standard" on our Elongated, even after the knob was completely twisted, the back of the seat would lift up with pressure at the front. After installing the Elongated, the seat is very secure.

Easy to install and remove
After my hip replacement, this proved to be a worthwhile purchase. It goes together easily, is fairly comfortable though it could be wider and the hole a bit bigger. If you're heavy this might not be the item for you. I'm slim but it didn't give me room between my legs enough to wipe while sitting which meant I had to lean forward to do that needed task but leaning forward compromises your safety just out of surgery. When you remove it, be prepared for quite a mess on the underside and your toilet. YUCK! Glad I bought it though all in all.

Great during knee replacement recovery
This has worked well for me while recovering from knee replacement surgery; but, it’s very narrow. I’m small -this seat is smaller! Those side rails keep you squeezed into the seat. It arrived quickly and installed easily. Would be too narrow for many people.

Easy install, super secure.
I just had a knee replacement and this has been a lifesaver. I had absolutely no issues putting it on. I have a standard bowl (not elongated) and the back of the seat fits right under the rim, then locks with the dial in front. So easy. I didn’t even have to remove the existing seat and lid. I just put it up and out of the way. It is so secure and the handles have been such a help. I hope to only be using this for a very short time, but it was well worth the money!!

Excellent raised toilet option without costing a fortune.
Perfect for our needs after family member had full knee replacement surgery. Very good quality product, easy to install and convenient to use. Support arms are very sturdy making sitting and standing easy. The seat does move a little when sitting or standing but there is no fear of a safety issue. Do pay attention to the seat specs, especially the clearance between the stability arms (which can be removed). If you happen to be a large individual as far as rear-ends go it could be a tight fit. I am 6' tall and roughly 210lbs and have no problem but it would be a very tight fit if I put on a few more pounds! Also if you are short or at least have short legs they will be off the floor when you sit. May need a stool. This would be true with any raised toilet seat.

Great for raised use!
I liked that it was easily adjustable. Raised my seat about 5”.

Great size for our small bathroom - after husbands surgery
It was hard to find one of these that wouldn't take up so much room in a small half-bath, when husband had to stay on the main level after hip surgery. Worked just fine for the short time we used it and cleaned very easily. Would recommend.

There is no space to wipe yourself
I had hip replacement surgery, and had to purchase one with handles and height. It was very sturdy, but you have to stand to wipe????

Extremely well made. Pricy but so much better than the cheaper flimsy models.
The handles are an added bonus enabling one to push oneself off the throne when there is nothing close by to grab. Suitable especially for a bulkier person.

Does not fit properly
Did not fit the toilet properly so was unsafe to use. I could not send back so went in the bin.

Not a product I ever wanted to need, but I'm very glad I bought it!
I had knee surgery a few weeks ago and knew that the bathroom would be an issue afterwards. It's pretty hard to come down for a proper landing when you have to stick your painful bad leg, straight out and then try to get seated and comfortable, hopefully without starting to do your business on the way down! I looked at the options available on Amazon and had to decide between a 3" model and this 5" model, and whether to get arms or not. I decided on the 5" with arms and it was the right choice for me. It isn't a pretty looking toilet seat that you'd want to show off to company (LOL) but it's very sturdy, and you can back the truck up, grab the handles without even turning around and sit EASILY every single time. This is especially helpful for the middle of the night bathroom trips where you're half asleep but need the facilities. I'm 5'5" tall and my feet don't sit flat on the floor when I'm seated - it's not too bad, but if someone is a couple of inches shorter it could be an issue (and the shorter models might work better). I don't want to say Enjoy the Go, but .... enjoy the go! ;)

Update...dangers
Dont risk you life. I though previously it was best purchase but the seat can easy slip off and cause you to fall. Can't put weight on one side or the other. It is only secured at front of toilet and just sits on the remainder. Will arms attached is a narrow seat. The hight was just what I needed, but the fall hitting my shower door destroying that has really shook me up. Not to mention having my son panic at what he heard and saw. Shifting your weight is required when needing to wipe yourself, other problem is the opening of the seat is very small you'll never be able to wipe yourselft at all. product was not well thought out. It needs to be secured on side any weight put on handles if not even then you will fall. I think I'll just buy a riser for the base. More money more time. What a waste. And obviously a new shower door.
