Lightweight, good lateral stability and looks great!

I have always worn Adidas Barricades and been very happy, but I was admiring my friend's new ASICS tennis shoes and she raved about how comfortable they were. I've always run in ASICs shoes but never considered them for tennis. The things that I love in their running shoes are the same things I love about their tennis shoes! First, the shoe is lower to the ground and offers excellent stability for the quick, lateral moves that we make on the court. Thus, I have no concerns that I will injure an ankle. Second, they are extremely lightweight (at least compared to the Barricade) and they "breathe", which is great for playing in the heat of New Mexico's summer. Finally, they look great. My Barricades always made me feel a bit like I was wearing shoe boxes - they felt and looked so big. But these look nice and feel great. I will always buy ASICS shoes for tennis in the future.

Great, but . . .

These shoes are really cute and I wore them through three sets of tennis quite comfortably. Just wanted to take them off when I got home, however. Full disclosure: I have really bad, hard to fit feet. I usually wear wide but I wanted orange. The new fitting app where you tell it what brand and size you wear usually and it tells you what size to order -- it was wrong. But I didn't listen to it and ordered a half size up which usually works for shoes that don't come in wide. It's too soon to tell but I think they'll work out. Hope so because they are cool looking and the price was very good.

Lightweight & best pair of tennis shoes I have so far :)

Wore these out to a tennis clinic for the first time today & wow--they fit and feel great on the court. I usually wear 7 1/2 B--and these are that and they fit me perfect. I have a narrow foot and high arches and this model is perfect for me. They are light weight, but still have good support around the ankle, and the mesh inserts really help in the heat. It was about 100 degrees out there this afternoon and my feet were not hot at all. Nice color too--the purple with the lime and white trim look good with all kinds of bright color tennis outfits. This is the first time I've bought a pair of Asics tennis shoes (I do have a pair of their triathlon shoes which I love) and like the fit better than my current pair of Nikes.

sharp looking, supportive tennis shoes

I bought these tennis shoes when I was having a problem with plantar fasciitis. I have been wearing these since the beginning of September and I play at least 3 days a week. I did remove the sock lining and replace it with my custom orthotics; I think the shoes offer good arch support, but I have to baby my foot until it's complete free of symptoms. I get compliments on the shoes all the time and have ordered another pair of the same color and style.

Great Shoes

I would recommend Asics tennis shoes to everyone. I play a lot of tennis and when the Reeboks I had been buying for years were discontinued I had to find another brand. Basic was advertised in Tennis Magazine as good light comforts let fit shoe. I bought a pair in hot pink as at thAt time that was pretty much the only color shoe they had that were for the tennis court. Over a couple of months I bought four more pairs just so I could have enough as I trade them off to make them last. They wear very well, have not woren any out yet. The ones I just bought are great also, the slam line for tennis. Thank you.

spot on beautifully comfortable shoe

these are adorable shoes. I love the color the style is finally something different and fun yet extremely stylish and not a casual shoe per se but more of a dressy shoes that can be worn anywhere and with most things including long skirts. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone. They fit beautifully and hug your foot gently and comfortably without the fuss of a hard shoe.another plus is that they make your feet look much smaller than they really are. So I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants to be in style still be comfortable and enjoy their shoes by the way they are extremely well made.

Very comfortable for tennis and love the color! (Orange and Purple)

I bought these shoes to replace my well worn New Balance tennis shoes. This is my first pair of Asics. The first time I wore them I had them on all day and played in a long 3 set tennis match on hard courts. My feet felt great and afterwards I kept the shoes on the rest of the day. I was very pleased not to have any break in discomfort. I ordered the same size I always wear and they fit exactly as I would expect, i.e. true to size.

Great tennis shoes

Really comfortable, lightweight tennis shoes. I haven't tried them on the court yet, but, if they're anything like my other Asics, they'll be great. The shoe seems to have more fore-foot cushion than most tennis shoes. The color is a bit more orange than the picture represents.
