They’re Strong!

These are accepted by our city’s composter. I have used different compostable bags and my biggest complaint is that they tear easily, sometimes even just pulling off the roll. These are so strong and don’t seem to leak very much at all! I put it in my countertop container and can fill it to top of container and still have room to tie it off. And, best of all, it doesn’t tear when filled!!

Holds up pretty well.

We use these for our compost bin that sits on our kitchen sink. They’re pretty durable, but I wish all the compost bags out there where more affordable. I would love to see Senior discounts, we’re on fixed incomes and although we’re helping with the environment, it feels like we’re buying an expensive item.

These are lightweight, compostable, pet litterbox bags for daily litterbox "patrol" cleanup.

I started using these compostable plastic litterbox bags because I witnessed the Great Pacific Ocean Plastic Island and saw a recent video of a baby whale that suffocated from a plastic bag shortly after birth with the mother nesting with him for many days trying to revive him. I decided then and there to make every effort to avoid plastic bags wherever possible. I found these compostable plastic cat litter bags to be useful for disposing of any organic waste in the garbage stream...a good place to start!

DO NOT BUY!!!

I was very excited to buy these bags and start disposing of my food waste in a better way! BUT The first time I went to take the compost out, DISASTER struck! I lifted this bag just out of the bin, and it burst through the bottom!!! Compost everywhere in my kitchen!!! This ruined my morning, I had to clean and bleach my kitchen to make sure all of the rotting food did not contaminate me! Worse, I was not expecting to do this, it happened at a very inconvenient time! IT GETS WORSE! I thought it was a 1-off failure. So I scooped all of the spilled compost from the first mess into another bag, and set it aside until I absolutely had to go to work....and....IT BURST AGAIN! This time, compost was all over the entrance to my apartment, and I was already running late for work from the first spill!!! Total failure! IT GETS WORSE! Every bag in the whole box is bad. Some do not even have a seal on the bottom! They are simply plastic sleeves!!! Whatever the reason, they clearly do not have quality control figured out at their manufacturing facility! I would avoid this brand if at all possible. Because when these bags fail, it is a horrible, horrible mess!

Great bahs & awesome price

Our city just started a compost program so I've been looking for bags to fit the "kitchen collector" bin they supplied. While they did include samples of a brandname bag, they were so expensive I just couldn't stand it. Decided to try these and am in love with them. Some people reported having problems with bags not being sealed on one end but all the ones I've used so far have been perfect. They aren't square at the bottom (like grocery bag for example) more of a knot style closure but they fit the bin and hold lots. Easy to the for disposal and seem thick enough to hold anything crazy. Will definitely but again.

Holds compost and decomposes quickly

- Note that the bags have a round bottom (as opposed to a square bottom) so the length of the bag needs to be in excess of the height of the bin you put it in (else, it will slip off the lip). - The bag holds in odors, so as long as your bin has a good lid, your house shouldn't stink of decaying compost. - The bag decomposes very quickly - within a week of putting it in the composter. This is a huge positive if you are concerned about environmental impact. - I will caution that you probably want to change the bag every week (even if it isn't full), just because it does start to decompose in the bin, at which point it will leak and ooze into your bin. - The bags themselves are sufficiently sturdy to hold a decent amount of compost. However, the plastic is quite thin, to overfilling the bag will likely cause it to rip (I've had maybe two such issues in the past year). - The full bags can also be stored outside in the winter, where the cold prevents decomposition - the bag will therefore hold the compost for weeks, when left outside in the cold

Bolsas biodegradables buena calidad

Muy buena calidad. Me confundi por la foto y pense que venian mas bolsas pero el tamaño como es grande igual de me hace justo el precio. Las uso para recoger las popos de mi perrita y en general para algun bote de basura. Si las recomiendo solo ten en mente que solo son 90 bolsas y el tamaño que son medianitas como del tamaño de una bolsa de tela de supermercado.

Only ones that have ever withstood falling apart once you have a few days of compost in them

Have tried other brands but found they just disintegrate before you are able to fill them up and dispose of them in the compost. Essentially defeating the purpose of even using these bags in your compost to make it less dirty within your bin. Once I found these ones I only ever use these and the search for a sturdy compost bag worth it's value is considered complete.
