Comfortable for camping

I don't do real camping so I needed something soft enough and portable enough to take with me camping.

Perfect for our intended uses!

We are very pleased with this mat for our specific intended purposes- so our expectations might be different than yours. We got this mat to use for: -- Tent camping as our toddler's bed (we have plenty of space for gear in our truck -but it might take up too much space for packing in a car with all your other camping gear, though). -- A simple option to send with our toddler on overnight sleepovers. -- An extra sleeping spot for small guests (we host elementary aged family members) -- An unintended but fun use that has come up - our toddler has enjoyed using it as padding to perfect his front flips and rolls???? Honestly, I doubt too many adults would use this unless they're used to sleeping on a simple foam pad. It isn't compact/firm memory foam by any means, so more than one night might be a bit rough as firmer support might be lacking - although the pad is thicker than most of the comparable floor mats. We are pleased to have it on hand for a bed in-a-pinch. It is, however, exactly as it was described so I don't feel surprised by what we received. The cozy zippered outer fleece cover is removable and machine washable. There is also an additional zippered protective cover enclosing each square foam piece, similar to that of a waterproof mattress cover - I was quite impressed with this feature because once foam like this gets wet, it's quite difficult to get dry and clean after that since there's really no way to wash foam bedding. The mat comes vacuum sealed and rolled up tight in a bag, and there was no noticeable odor when opened. The carrying bag is handy and the folded mat goes into it quite easily. Overall, we are pleased with this mat, and excited to use it for our many purposes! That being said, at this higher price point, you might try to snag it on sale. But for us, it's worth the full price since we know we will get many uses out of it.

Good Alternative to Inflatable Mattresses If you Have Storage Room.

BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this folding floor mattress. 2. The current price of ~$85 is a bit overpriced. LIKES: - Comfortable enough. - Super easy to use. - Washable cover. - Will never spring a leak! - Storage bag is a great addition. DISLIKES: - Not very wide. - Understandable, but it does take up a lot of storage space compared to an air mattress. UPDATES: None at this time. I will update this review with any changes or important additions should any arise.

If your tired of you air mattress going flat you need to get one of these

If you have ever used an air mattress you know that they always end up leaking the air out and you end up with nothing between you and the ground except a flat piece of plastic. Now that I have this foldable foam mattress I will never have to worry about that again. We occasionally have someone spend the night and now I can offer them a soft place to sleep. This mattress is made of foam and supports the weight of a person without sagging. It is large enough to accommodate everyone. It is easy to store because it folds into thirds and can be stored in the bag that it comes with. At first I was worried that the 3 sections would leave a gap between them but the way it is constructed prevents this from happening. So far we have used this 4 different times and it is still holding up well. Both the 2 children and the 2 adults have said it was very comfortable to sleep on and that they had plenty of room. The size seems to be about the same size as a single bed. I have not found anything that I don't like about this foldable mattress and I'm sure we will be getting a lot of use out of it. I would recommend that if your still using an air filled mattress, that you should replace it with one of these. I'm positive you will enjoy this so much more and that it will last a lot longer then your air filled one.
