Saved me from quite a few falls

I slide down the nine foot bowl backwards with these and a helmet and walked away unscathed. Unfortunately they don't protect you from narly shinners lol

Great if they fit you. One size fits all is not good though.

I bought a few pairs to try and these had enough padding to be helpful and protect well enough, but not too much to be bulky. I like the design and they’re comfortable. But the problem is that they’re one-size-fits-all, so they may not fit you properly. They’re really messing up here because I prefer these over many other different pad sets. I find the elbow pads are best put on by strapping first, then sliding one’s arm through. It would also be nice if they were marked for left and right. But if they fit you, they’re good! I’m a 5’-9” 160 lb (not thin but maybe medium build or marginally less) male. They fit me and I wouldn’t think they’d be too big for anyone smaller than me (unless you’re tiny), but don’t think anyone bigger than me would fare so well with them, necessarily. But it’s not really about your height so much as girth of arms and legs. I believe any sizing on the package is referring to the wrist guards and knee and elbow pads are OSFA.

Velcro strap should be longer for a better. Thats the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star.

Bought for roller skating. I can't have anything too tight due to a medical condition. So it would of been great if the velcro strap on the knee guards where longer to allow full range for adjustment. I ordered a small and had to return for a medium but still too tight. I am a petite 125lb woman. But all else is great. I will add an extension to this one so I dont have to return it.

Best protection

This is really great to use when starting to learn how to skate! Fell a few times and had these on to protect me.

Sizing a bit small but comfortable

Just got them! I can’t say about durability yet but after trying them on, elbow pads and wrist guards fit great. I got size M and I’m usually a S in tops and M-L (size 6-8) in bottoms for women’s. My legs are on the thicker side so I should have known to either size up or buy knee pads separately but yeah the knee pads barely fit my knees. After falling on the ground to test them a few times I did notice they were pretty comfortable to fall on. These are the first safety pads I’ve owned.

Real triple 8 product works great, don’t buy the cheap ones!

You get what you pay for and these are high quality durable if you get cheap ones cause they look pretty you’ll get hurt and not look so pretty????????????

Sizing Reference

Just here to give an idea of sizing (I haven’t fallen on these yet but they seem good from what it feels like). I am 5’3 and 117 pounds, medium fits perfect!

Good product

Quite like this item. But the one I received has a small scratch on one of the knee pad. Didn't return it as I am sure I will scratch it anyway during my skateboarding.

Mixed sizes in the set box.

Not very impressed at all. The pads came as a set, in a box, and yet were different sizes to hat was ordered as well as what was on the box. Will be returning this.

Not for high impact sport use!

This review is for the use, not the quality. Triple 8 is a great product and I have used there stuff for roller derby in the past. This set is NOT designed for the movements and hits and fall in derby. These remind me of a kids set. I am a lean build 5'10, 150 pounds. The knee pads seem thin and on the smaller side. With all the knee falls. I cannot see them staying in place without shifting. The elbow pads shift around just from bending the arm repeatedly, not going to chance practicing with these on. Wrist guards are great. Measured to size. I returned them, again not confident to use these for roller derby.

Excelente calidad y comodidad

Excelente producto, llego sin ningun defecto. La medida indicada en la pagina es la correcta, en mi caso talla M por el tamaño de mi mano. El material es de buena calidad, al usarlas se sienten comodas, no pesan. En caso de dudas con la medida lo mejor seria ir a la pagina oficial de la marca. Protecciones compradas para un adulto.

Útiles

En cuanto a rodilleras, son muy útiles y sí aguantan impactos, protegen. Las coderas, su diseño no son muy útiles, ya que en impacto se me movió cuando la metí para recibirlo, tal vez para ambas tanto rodilleras como coderas se necesita un modelo de manga y las muñequeras, las costuras se rompen por la presión en impactos. Son útiles, porque no me he lesionado, pero tal vez se podría mejorar un poco el diseño y calidad en costuras.
