FANMATS 17194 NHL - Anaheim Ducks License Plate Frame

I bought a couple of the Fanmats Ducks (with the white lettering) license frames and thought the overall look was pretty impressive. The frame is shiny chrome with 4 screw holes. The two decals are sharp and cover with a thick rounded layer of acrylic-like substance, giving it an expensive look and feel, way better than any plastic frame. The price is right at $12.91, cheaper than most other frames. They fit the standard-size license plates. The only problem I have is that the narrow part of the frame is a little too narrow and needs to be 1/4 to 1/3 " wider to completely cover the line creases around the license plates. Hopefully the chrome will hold out and plastic doesn't yellow or fall out..

Completely different than the picture.

This frame is supposed to be blue versus red and the logos are supposed to be on either side of capitals on the bottom per sales image. Disappointing. Frame does seem like it’s sturdy but it isn’t what I was told I was purchasing.

Ok value/quality...delivery packaging need help

It’s hard to tell from the picture, but the team logo elements are a piece of plastic adhered to the metal frame. Frame itself appears to be generic and stamped/pressed. Sturdy enough considering it gets bolted to the car and never touched. However, I am returning because it arrived bent in at least two places. if it were not bent on arrival, it’s an ok value for the cost considering it is legit NHL licensed product, so I am sure a chunk of the price goes right to the NHL. It comes packaged in a clear plastic sleeve within a cardboard envelope (think FedEx/UPS letter envelope). The packaging was marked “do not bend” on one side. Thats a give away that what is on the inside will bend with moderate ease. Packaging is insufficient to ensure no damage while in transit (usps). I immediately opted for a return/refund noting it arrived damaged, which was approved without any issue.
