Possibly not genuine, but fits!

First of all, I ordered my part from KillDirt and not Amazon. I question whether the item is a genuine Bissell replacement part. See my uploaded customer image and comments for reasons why I think so. This shouldn't be important to most people since the fit is good and I don't expect much "leakage", however, not being genuine, it may not be a real HEPA filter, and if that is a health requirement for you, you might want to pay a premium and order from Amazon directly. I had weird burning/tarring smells coming from my vacuum and found that this filter was extremely dirty (it was black on one side and white on the other). After the switch, I ran the vacuum for a bit and it seems like it has since disappeared. Bottom line, replace your filters every so often! They're cheap and possibly extends the life of your vacuum!

Great Filter, great price!

I've had my Bissel Vac for about 3 years now and have been using the same filters that came with it-I washed them regularly and they held up well. I decided it would be a great idea to start fresh and get another 3 years out of the machine and picked up this part and am very glad I did! While washing the old filters out and reusing them was great while it lasted, I certainly won't miss them as after replacing them with these the Vac is working like new (with increased suction) so that was a pleasant suprise. This is a genuine Bissel product so it fit perfectly. I purchased all 4 filter/parts from Amazon and got them for less than what I could have from Bissel's website. Very pleased with my purchase.

Received generic Style 9, not Bissell Style 7 for my 58F83 vacuum

I purchased 2 of these. One to replace my old filter and one as a backup for my mom's new BISSELL 58F83 Rewind SmartClean (the model which I also own). These did not come in any packaging. They were just thrown in the box with the vacuum which I do find poor as far as a business practice. It fits perfectly and works just fine. I will give it 4 stars because the ad heading should state it is a generic brand. My original filter says "Bissell Style 7" but the generic ones say "Style 9". I would give an overall rating of 3 if I based it along with the unprofessional packaging.

great suction and cleaning

The machine was easy to use and very efficient. The attachments work well and I like the fact that there is no bag with potential festering little insects in my closet. My only criticism is the machine is a bit heavy and cleaning all the parts is a pain but worth the time and effort for peace of mind. I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner. It does the job beautifully and the bagless feature and HEPA filter have greatly reduced allergic reactions. All in all, a good purchase for the price.

Fits my vacuum, but its not OEM.

This brought new life to my old vacuum, but its not OEM as the seller "Morequalitylessmoney" states. Others mentioned that this didn't even fit their vacuum. On mine, it actually was a perfect fit. The new filter was the exact same size as the one that came with the vacuum. My only disappointment is that the its not OEM. This is made by "More Quality Less Money." It works, but I was hoping for OEM. But, I'm still keeping it as it functions as it should.

Great as far as I can tell!

My dad bought our vacuum years ago and he never really bothered with the filters until I decided it was time to change them out. There was a huge difference when it came to vacuuming now because it doesn't spew out nasty air coming from the filter area. This was defiantly must needed. I wish they would tell me how many microns the filters are, but it seems to do a fantastic job as it is, so there isn't much to complain now. Just glad that our air smells better after vacuuming and our floors can be clean as well.

Works great!

I hadn't realized that I needed to change this filter frequently. I was cleaning the other filters and emptying and washing the canister that collected the main dust and debris. The vacuum was still sucking up a lot of stuff, but the HEPA filtration didn't seem to be working. I ordered this product, which came within a few days, and easily replaced it (make sure you have it facing in the correct direction). Instant success! I will replace it more often now, but probably not at the recommended 6 month intervals because my vacuum is not used as much as most and the house is small.

Vacuum is garbage ????️

The vacuum this filter goes is should be thrown in the garbage ????️ It leaks dust so bad around the filter and other parts of the vacuum.
