Who is running?

I recently had an issue with my toilet running and was unable to get a plumber to come out and take a look at it. However, I was determined to find a solution to the problem and after some research, I stumbled upon a product that could potentially help me fix the issue - the Toilet Flapper. I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised by the results. The product was easy to install and worked like a charm. I no longer hear the annoying sound of running water all day and my toilet has been working great ever since. Overall, I am very pleased with the Toilet Flapper and would highly recommend it to anyone who is experiencing similar issues with their toilet. It's a great product that does exactly what it's supposed to do and has saved me the hassle of having to deal with a plumber.

Replacement for Delta RP 72472

I had to replace the flapper in a Delta Prelude toilet so I obtained a "Korky" replacement flapper from the local home store. It is very floppy and did not provide a consistent seal, resulting in water leakage. Then I ordered this part as a replacement. It's made of a harder plastic material and so far there have been no leaks and it was easy to install. One minor complaint; the mounting "ears" could be improved to provide finer adjustment so as to eliminate side-to-side play. As it is, there are only two possible positions for each "ear".

Good Replacement for Gerber

This works very well in my Gerber water saving toilet. The old Gerber flapper had to be cut to allow removal, new flapper snaps right in. Unknown longevity but appears higher quality than the OEM Gerber.

This was the one!

I have bought over 7 different flappers from Home Depot and Lowes and no of them sealed and had the weight of this one. This was my last shot at trying to fix the constantly running toilet before I replace the whole thing and it worked. I'm ordering a few more to have on hand just in case another bathroom needs one.

Top Quality Flapper

Bought these to replace originals on American Standard toilets that started leaking because the silicone gasket was warping. It would be very easy and economical to replace just the gasket, but no, they don’t offer them. But these are better quality and not too expensive, and they do the job.

Still susceptible to chlorine

I hate cleaning the toilet so I regularly put in one of those chlorine bleach pucks. The blue ones don't keep the toilet clean as well. The description of this product states, "Durable silicone seal lasts 10X longer than regular flappers and resists chlorine and hard water." Nope. I had a blue puck in for 2 months, no issues, then plopped a chlorine bleach pucks a week ago and the toilet is already "ghost flushing" which is why I had to replace with this flapper in the first place. Basically, it seems like this flapper replacement is good, it works, but the claim that it's resistant to chlorine is false. I'll see if it does any better if I clean up around the seal and let it ride but if I keep getting ghost flushes I'll have to avoid using those bleach pucks. Not saying this flapper is bad, just that the claim is false. I really wish toilet technology would advance. It's the year 2023 and we're still using rubber flappers?
