I've bought 3 of these now...

I've bought 3 of these mattresses now because my son has autism and requires a truly waterproof mattress. The first one I bought and he ripped the bottom out of it (and he ripped all the foam up) because it's just fabric and not the plastic. The second one I bought and sewed the top of the first one to the bottom of the second one so I'd have plastic all the way around and that worked great. It's wearing out and he's gotten bigger so he's essentially just laying on the floor now. We needed something thicker. So I thought I would just buy another one and stack them. It arrives and I lay on it and can't feel the floor. Awesome! I'm about to duct tape the mattresses together when I see that the new mattress is not sewn shut in two places. It looks like the machine just missed the plastic in two spots, both about three inches long. Returning it would be a terrible pain because I only spotted the problem after it was mostly inflated. I used upholstery thread to sew those spots, but I shouldn't have to do repair work on brands new stuff. Better quality control, guys. I'm still giving it four stars because it is truly waterproof, it's affordable, but if you have a destructive kid like mine be aware that the bottom is rippable. Check your seams.

Hard as a rock but water tight

This is extremely firm. I mean might as well sleep on the floor firm, however with a waterproof quilted mattress cover it’s more tolerable and perfect for my child who has accidents at night. Reminds me of summer camp bunk beds…it’s doing it’s job and once we fluffed it up she was comfortable. Fits her twin bed from pottery barn kids perfectly.

It's holding up under duress from my autistic sons, aged 6 and 9. We'll see...

Seems expensive for what it is, but is so far doing the job. The memory foam mattress's that I started with turned into hundreds of chunks of nothing within a few months. It's not very comfortable to me, but the 6 year old mattress destroyer sleeps through the night on it.

Not soft, but sturdy

It’ll definitely keep its shape. A little too stiff for my taste, but it’s perfect for the seating area by the pool since it’s waterproof. Will probably add a cushion one day to soften it up a little.

Purchase was made for my grandson, who is three. We set it up on the twin size frame and it was a little short by about 2 inches. But it is perfect for what we needed it for, potty training is difficult for any child during the night. This mattress makes easy for my daughter to clean when he has an accident. That was the main reason I purchased this mattress. Would highly recommend this for anyone who has a toddler in training.

Too thin and lightweight for our needs

We needed a twin foam mattress for our patio. It was difficult trying to find one that was specifically for outdoors and not overpriced. It came packaged very well and was easy to set up. The color is not like the photo shown. It looks more like a hospital mattress but the color doesn't bother me because we put a fitted sheet over it. I really like that it has a vinyl material to protect it from when it rains. The mattress is very lightweight and doesn't feel like most "solid heavy memory foam" mattresses. It almost feels like an air mattress to me that is partially deflated. My parents have a 6" memory foam from another company that feels much more SOLID and comfortable. I purchased the 5 inch thick but feels more like a mattress topper. It did slide back and forth because it was light weight and had vinyl cover. This would be great for camping because it would be easy to transport and also work great for children that wet their bed. I just would not recommend for an adult as their primary mattress. *We did end up returning for a more solid mattress for comfort and so that it would Not move around as we got up and down from it.

Even with the best quality control

Defects happen . Even with the best quality control, occasionally a product with a small problem can make it out to the customer. What happens next is what defines the company . Excellent customer service! Contact via email was quickly responded to.The problem was taken care of immediately. The mattresses work great in my antique folding bed frames in my cabin . I slept good on it last nite and I'm lying down comfortably, looking forward to another good nite of sleep before I get back to logging in the morning ...unfortunately, in the short amount of time it took to write this review so far, my wife has fallen asleep. Yup ,no complaints about lack of comfort from her, just her brutally loud snoring of approval. I'm a reasonably large guy, 6" about 230 lbs, and the support is pretty good considering that the mattress is not on a rigid base. The vinyl cover seems durable enough to last for a while and it should be easy to wipe down. Bottom line, I would order these again.

Comfort

I like this mattress for my Husband. He sleeps comfortable in it. The mattress is medium firm and it is waterproof which is good.

Not flippable.

The top was nice quality however the edging was poorly sewn and already starting to come loose. Comfortable for my 13 year old grandson and fits his bed frame nicely. Was surprised it’s not flipable as underside is not of the same waterproof fabric.
