Makes carrying boots convenient

I bought these to help us manage and carry our ski equipment to and from the parking lot. The Chums (along with the Bow-tie for our skis) allow us to do so without having to worry about dropping a boot here or a ski pole there. The only drawback is that the Chums barely fit over the plastic shin cover on my boots. Over my wife's boots and daughter's boots - no problem. But mine are a tight fit.

small, handy, inexpensive

This carrier serves two purposes. - it helps you carry and move your boots as a single unit - it keeps your boots together, nice and neat when storing them. It's well made, simple, and inexpensive. The downside to it is that you need one hand free to carry your boots and if it's snowing your boot liners may get wet. Just to review your options and this carriers uses: There are three types of carriers for boots: by hand (this one), over the shoulder strap, and boot bag. - If you want to carry your boots outside of a bag and not over your shoulder then this is for you. - over the shoulder carriers are nice but tend to become a jumble of boots and straps when you put them down (not to mention they tend to want to slide off your shoulder when walking). They have the same problem as the hand carrier: if it's snowing your boot liners may get wet. - If you carry your boots in a bag where both boots are stored together this will keep your boots together when you remove them or store them. With bags where the boots are stored in separate boot pockets this carrier will be less useful. Hope that helps.

Best carrier for mittened hands!

Loved that I could easily and comfortably carry my ski boots without taking off my mittens! So much better than the cheaper T-style boot carriers. I’m a smaller woman and normally awkward carrying all my gear to the bus/car, but this (along with a shoulder strap for my skis) made the task practically easy!

Sturdy and Useful Tote

We go on a skiing vacation every year for one or two weeks and always rent our equipment. The t-style tote the rental shop provides is fine but hurts my hand if I have to carry my boots for much of a distance and does not work well with mittens. The place where we stay is one-held mile from the base of a ski resort so we walk rather than deal with the parking expense and crowded traffic. This tote makes carrying my boots much easier. The handle is very sturdy and comfortable. Not a mandatory, but it makes life much easier. Definitely recommended!

The loop is too small and requires some wrestling

The loop that connects to your boots is to small and should be at least 50% larger. You really have to wrestle with them to get them to go around each boot. Stick with the really cheapy ones or go with this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0764DGJM7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that has plenty of material and you can even carry it over your shoulders or around your neck.

Love it!

I have skied since I was five and have always had the cheesy boot carrier that was free from the ski shop. I bought the chums carrier hoping it would be easier to use and support the weight of the boots without killing my hand! I was so happy to find it lived up to my expectations. My husband also likes it. The preformed handle keeps the carrier from crushing your fingers together. The strap is long enough to keep your hand well above the top of the boots but not so long to encourage twisting. Bravo Chums!!!!

Simply Works!

Love this little boot carrier! Simple and comfortable to carry with the grip handle when I'm lugging my and my two little grandsons ski equipment from the parking lot to the chalet. Buying another!

Good. But not needed with new boots.

Great Product. But new boots already have a Velcro shin straps that can pasted together to do the same thing, without paying for this.

Best boot tote

I find this style much better than the strap style boot totes. Keeps the boots together and they stand when you put them down. The handle helps make them easy to carry as well. Recommended.

Keep a hold on em

The stitching is nice and full. I don't see this degrading in the future. Been using it for only one season so far, but it's done it's job and still looks perfect.

Not long enough for adult boots. Ok for children's boots.

It works fine for small boots (childrens) - but its tough to use on larger pairs (adult) boots.

Works great!

I originally bought this for my kids...they struggle carrying their boots and this was perfect. It was so good I picked them up for my wife and I as well. Great price and great product.
