A little weak on a thin pot

It’s pretty cool and it’s a cute little gift. It doesn’t hold perfectly on thin or ceramic cookware and it doesn’t hold heavy bamboo or large handles

A bit small

I was disappointed with the size. Not nearly as depicted in the photo. So far it works for straight sided pots. Not so for curved frying pan.

Red Rooster, Something To Crow About

I was unsure about this since there is a mixed bag of reviews on whether or not this actually works. But for $5 I decided it was worth a try because I figure I have spent more than that in paper towels wiping up the countertop and stovetop from my husband laying the spoon (in a different spot each stir too) down instead of standing it up in the spoonrest. Yes, standing it up... I refuse to give up the counter space for a traditional spoonrest and apparently he is equally stubborn about standing the spoon upright. As he really is a darn good cook, I have thought it best to put up and wipe up so he doesn't give up helping in the kitchen. I tried Red (his name) on two different types of pans, one with straight sides and one with a lip on the top edge. It worked as it should on both. My pan with straight sides is a heavy anodized aluminum and is quite thick, so that may be why it worked without falling as some have complained theirs did. Super cute and functional for pig fans

Love this! Added it to my cart the moment I saw it. Besides my son and I loving pigs and pig items, my fiance and son's last name is Bacon, so now I end up with way more cute pig themed things. It was incredibly inexpensive and is a very useful kitchen tool. It straddles the edge of the pot or bowl, then holds the utensil in its mouth. This keeps the counter clean and reduces the need for a spoon rest. I've seen many versions of this tool and this continues to be on the less pricey side, while being a more whimsical design.

Works well!

Really cute...nice quality and works better than I expected. Am using it on stainless steel mixing bowl...it holds steady and keeps the utensils from falling into the bowl.

Cute little spoon holder

Cute little spoon holder. It’s not sturdy enough to use on the counter without doing a balancing act with the spoon. Attached to something it works very well. Love using this to keep my coffee spoon off the counter! Super cute

It works best with my wood spoons

Rooster Pot Clip/Spoon Holder. Cutest little gadget. It doesn't get hot. Stays on the curved edge of the pot. It works best with my wood spoons. The metal scoops are too thick. I also use it to hang the fry basket off of, in order to protect the side of the pot from scuffs.
