Works well, but a bit large and a bit expensive.
I bought this to sit beside my stovetop to provide a place to set down spoons and other utensils and also pot lids. As others have mentioned, the edges along the bottom of the device were rather sharp. One wouldn't normally come in contact with the bottom edges very often, but I filed down the edges on mine. The device is a bit large as a spoon rest, but it also works well as a pot-lid holder. I haven't found the size to be a problem. Since the device is stainless steel, it won't break when dropped (and I have broken ceramic spoon rests). It is easy to clean in the dishwasher.

Great product but
This a great product. But the material stains on the lid holder part. Pasta sauce orange yellow stain on silicone material. Recommend changing the material or color to black.

Nice product
This spoon rest/lid rest does exactly what is said it does. Lol. The lid rest is sturdy enough to hold one of my larger glass lids with no issue. Easy to clean. It looks great on my counter. My utensil rest does have small dark specks that I can't seem to get off, no matter how hard I scrub... It's not a huge deal, but worth mentioning, I suppose. If there is any room for improvement, the rubber grip along the edge to help it from slipping around could go all the way around, rather than just being on the one side. I've seen people mention in their reviews they've been cut by the edges. I have cleaned mine a few times and I've never been cut by it. Overall, I like the product.

Sharp edges can and will cut you
Other reviewers have mentioned this, but for some reason Oxo has neglected to put protective material on the bottom of this spoon rest, rendering it a safety hazard when washing it. The edges are super sharp metal, and can easily cut you if you're not careful. But even still, as long as you're careful, this spoon rest is incredibly handy and innovative. I love having someplace to rest my pot lid and spoon while cooking, and this is pretty much always in use in my kitchen. We just exercise extreme caution when washing it because both my fiancé and I have been inadvertently cut by it when we weren't paying attention.

Very sturdy!
While a bit pricey, it is very well made. It held my very heavy 6qt pot lid with no problem at all. I’m impressed! Plenty of space for spatula, spoon, etc… Nice well to collect liquids. Only one small issue is that the bottom is quite sharp so you need to be very careful when washing it. I wish they would’ve extended the rubber lip all the way around the bottom. Otherwise it is 5 star! OXO, just a little more rubber on the bottom, pleeeeease! Safety first. But Yes! I’d definitely buy this again.

Ridculously overpriced
I generally love Oxo products in my kitchen. They are often more expensive, but in my experience they are substantially built and of a very high quality. However, this item is simply a stainless steel stamping for the base plate with a somewhat flimsy feeling bail that folds flat. It isn't worth $50. A fair price would probably be around $25.

Good price and quality
It does hold a 10 litre pot lid without any problem. Only issue is the sharp edge of the stainless steel base. IAs a precaution I just file the sharp edge to blur it.
