Not as easy as it looks

It’s an ok game for having in the bar area. It can get addictive though lol. It’s something to pass the time but it’s not very easy to win. Seems a little lightweight as far as the hooks go but it’s okay.

Very fun but difficult to set up

This is very fun. It sat on the counter for weeks and people would duel as they walked past it. Nice looking with the wood. I will say it was difficult to get the string to stay tight and to know exactly how tight to make it. I put the rings on and tied as tight as I could, but that made it impossible to hook the ring. We loosened them a bit and now it works well.

A Great Well-Made Cabin Game for a Reasonable Price

This classic ring hook game is a great way to get some fast paced tug of war action going. It is built well and is fun to play. It can be used as both a kids game, where a reward is placed in the wooden shot glass, or as an adult drinking game. The only issue is with the strings not being tied equally, so that one side is easier to hook than the other. Despite this, it is priced right and is a great value for many hours of fun. For us, we have a rental cabin and have this on display in the game room for guests to enjoy when they stay the night. Being made of wood and metal and not requiring electricity, bluetooth or wifi is in line with the fun experience we want to provide our guests. It's a great addition and we're glad we ordered it.

Decent Ring Hook Game!

We enjoy the Franklin brand and we’re in the market for a Ring Hook Game for some adult beverage games :). This ring hook game is decent. The game is made out of pine and takes around 5 minutes to assemble. The instructions are very easy to follow. On top of it the price is great for what you get. Our next adult game night will be exciting including this game into the mix. We recommend this ring hook game.

Kids??

Yes!! I got this for my kids for Christmas and my spouse thought it was a drinking game... but it also works for kids, without the alcohol! The goal is to swing the ring onto the hook before your opponent does. Every time you make the metal hoop land on the hook, you move the marker one space toward you. The first person to make the marker land on the table wins. For our kiddos, we put a little hershey kiss or some other piece of candy in the wooden "shot glass" for them to celebrate their win. My kids spent hours playing this game... it is very competitive, high energy and super fun! Recommend!

A Fun Game For All Ages—Quick & Easy To Set Up

At get-togethers, we like games that are easy to play and enjoyed by many. Great fun, family game

I got this for my family and we have thoroughly enjoyed the competition. The only issue is that my 10 year old set it up and the strings are not tied equal, so one side is easier to hook than the other. The game is well made and looks great with the neutral stain color. It is priced right and a great value for many hours of fun/frustration :)
